Hi all! We have a problem with a Mitsubishi system. After switch off the machine in home position and back on, it resets the servo encoder value to 0.  I checked the servo parameters, and the Absolute encoder is enabled, the ext. battery is ok and no zero reseting in the program ( I think...). Is there a parameter I should check or some setting in the intelligent module? The system consists Q01CPU, QD77MS2 im., J4 200B amp with 6v battery, and HG-SR152 motor.

Hi all, I am trying to set up a PID loop for a project I'm working on, and I was hoping someone could take a look at it for me. Most of what is written comes from the Q, L programming manual, but I've changed a few things so that the program can write changes to the SV as needed. The processor is a Q03UDE and the Analog Module is a Q64AD2DA, using only channels 1 and 5. Thanks for looking! PID Project.gxw

I have a compact logix with a major fault. Please see my attached file for the complete fault message.  Code 20 array subscript too large. or control data type to large or invalid. Has anyone observed this issue before.  The PLC is a compact logix model.  Every time, the controller is switched from program to run the major fault occurs within 5 seconds.  The fault can be cleared but then it comes back in a few seconds.  I have been told by my tech that no program changes have been made.  Could there be a hardware/wiring issue? Hello Everyone, I am new at this forum, seeking help from you guys and gals. Scenario: I have a Controllogix 1756-L71 5570 controller installed with 1756-TIME module. The function of time module is to take time from GPS clock module in NTP format and send it to controller in PTP format. All the status LED's on Time module are OK. Also sync LED is Green. Still the time of controller is not synchronized with GPS clock there is a difference of 45 mins. Fellows please help. I'll be helpful.

Hello, Have this error come up constantly and can't be reset. Motor hasn't tried to drive at all. Second motor showing same problem. This is a new configuration on new machine. Other inverters configured without any problems. Anyone seen this before or any ideas what could be the issue.

Hello Guys, i have an issue with my powerFlex40; it's getting the F081 sometimes after a start. I have 4 pf40 and they are almost configured the same way and this working like this for years. the 4 pf are wired in the same way that when an emergency stop is pushed they are all powered off(400V); after acknowledging the e-stop they all start normally but that one brings sometimes(not always) the F081: Comm Loss. I can even not reproduce the issue because it is not happening every time.  Any Ideas what it could be? the network cable of the pf goes to a switch (all the 4 pf are connected on that switch) and from the switch to a 1794-AENT Ethernet adapter.

Please let me know if it is allowed to sell PLC hardware on your forum. I accumulated lots of Omron hardware  that I want to get rid off. Has anyone had an issue with Siemens plc's occasionally going out of run mode? I was doing some research and found that it could be due to a bad analog input. Is there a way to tell which input or output is causing this fault? I know I can create a hardware diagnostics error organization block but that only correct from what I've read.     Edit: I've added a screen shot of the diagnostics report. The fault that may be the problem is: Temporary CPU error: Serious firmware exception  CPU changes to DEFECTIVE mode (system reaction)  This plc / system was installed 2 year ago and we've had this problem occasionally since. I'm guessing the wrong firmware was used during the install. Will try upgrading firmware this weekend.   

Dear all, the following error happened with me as following  1-power cut happened  2-rack with DO wasn't working "meaning no DO on plc module or from PLC but from function was active & some DO was blinking very fast" action I took  1-after more try change address for DO module from H/W configuration with spare DO "using Rewiring Option" worked well  but I face the following error "i don't if problem was new or related to last action' error on counter module FM450-1  I/O access error and error on FC40 "System function for counter module" no change in H/W wiring in field was done  any one need more data can ask  DO & FM not on the same rack  CPU416

HI I'm using PlC5/20 when I click on setup screen on the BTR block (to view the analog input configuration) i find the following message: No modules exist in the IOconfiguration for this R/G/M however the analog input signals is running properly....i just want enter the setup screen for configuration. I'm assuming that I need to enter I/O module in the I/O configuration? Can I do this without taking PLC to Program mode?

Hi All, I have an AB servo TLY-A110T and 2097-V31PR0-LM Kinetix 350 drive. I thought that it was fully configured and ready for tuning, but when I issue a MSO it immediately starts to spin the shaft (no load yet). This lasts about a second until a Physical Axis Fault, Excessive Velocity Error occurs. I've double and triple checked the feedback and power wiring, and everything looks right. Is there anything else I can check? What can I do to trouble shoot this if I can't even give an MSO? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

please can anyone tell me how to set A1S68DAV analog output module parameters , such as voltage output and resolution? or is the parameter can't be set at aLL (ie, fixed at -10V to 10V)?

Hi I'm a bit new to Siemens, we;re an Allen Bradley plant...until now. we just got a brand new used press and it has a seimens controller on it. The press doesn't seem to have any manual functions so I as asked to move the cylinder, but I can't until I clear this fault. it won't do anything.  I'm told I'm working with an older processor, s7 300?I don't really know seimens that well.  I saved the diagnostics buffer as a text file and pasted it below. in case that helps solve my problem. I'm thinking it's just having trouble communicating with remote IO, but I'm not sure. hello everyone,,,, I want to running the motor in 100 rpm but how to setting electronic gear to control speed in servo motor HG-SR502,, does anyone know how?

hallo everyone ...i use mitsubishi Q00UJCPU and QD77MS2.. i try to make a speed control program and the speed wants to be changed during servo operating, i use dedicated instructions ZP. PSTRT1 (axis 1) and have tryed but it was only successful to change speed with "change speed control" function once ... is it like it? cannot change "change speed control" many times when servo operations?

Trying to figure out a fix to a processor issue, I have 2 1785-L40E processors a series E and F. Both when inserted into the rack and powered up go straight to a solid red BATT and PROC light as well as a Solid amber Force light, they both wont even attempt to start a boot up sequence. When connected through DH+ and ENET there is no visibility to either of these processors. These are refurbished processors.

Is it possible to add another AB Rockwell PLC to the network tree as a Generic Ethernet Module and use it as IO? Any idea where I would find information regarding assembly instance and size of I/O/C for AB Rockwell products? If possible, what are the pros and cons when compared to produce/consume and MSG instructions? Don't need to use it real world, just curious. Many thanks in advance.

Hi guys! Can anybody help me? I have an existing controlnet network. How can I connected a new module? Like an 1794 IB16. What should I need to do after I connected the new module? One more question: What's the difference if I do not connected the new module right after the last module, but I connected between already existing module. Then what should I need to configure. If anybody want to help, please write like step by step. I'm a beginner, but I want to imporve myself. Thank you for your help. I almost forget, I need to work with Allen-Bradley PLC, and I have RSLogix 5000 software.

Hi Everyone! I try to read Analog Data in PLC Master through Salve Module (ECT-21) but i dont see any data, with an Digital Module i can read and write, but with analogic module i can't do anything. The analog module works perfect, i have 4-20ma Simulator and work fine. Modules: PLC: NJ501-1300 Slave: ECT-21 Analog: ADO81-V1 Can u help me? Regads..
