sine wave generation for frequency tests purpose
ILC_H posted a topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Hallo everyone, i have a logix5561 PLC wich control a pumpsystem. The Pump is driven by a linear Motor. I need to perform frequency tests on the system. So first of all i want to know how i can generate sine wave with this controller? I google it but didn't find any valuable information. Can i perform such tests without additional hardware? thanks for your replys! -
Hello, I'm trying to execute the loopback test on the RS-422 built-in port of GX3GE-40M. I connected the TxD pins to RxD pins (+ to +, - to - ). I'm trying to use the function rs2 (later the plc should communicate with a bar code reader). I have tryed all possible connections, to see if the PLC can read the signal as well as transmit it. It manages to transmit the signal, but I cannot get it to read it. Could someone help me troubleshoot if the problem is in the program portion? I'm working in GX Works2 Thanks for any and all help test_plk.gxw

Cant call a STL written add-on instruction from an SFC main program
Radu Babau posted a topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Hello folks, I am a rookie, self-training in PLC programming. I have written an SFC exercise (attached ACD file). I also try to call STL written subroutines and add-on instructions, from within the SFC main program. Calling the created subroutine works fine, but calling the add-on instruction fails from a reason which is above my level. I tried, tried and tried different solutions, with no avail. I am either wrong in writing the add-on (perhaps some missing but missing tag ?), or wrong is calling it. Can someone please give me a hint on what I do wrong ? Thank you, Radu PS . I use Studio 5000 v24, combined with RSLogix 5000 Emulator. SFC_trial.ACD -
Hi, there! I had got GX-Developer Ver.8, which is very different from the plc programs that I have learned before. I have read many tutorials and watch it but I still don't know how to start ladder logic test. Many other people simply click on 'start or end ladder logic test' but mine was greyed. Anyone has solution? Or I just missed a couple steps of simulation? Though it is very basic problem, I will put a deep gratitude for your reply.

Mitsubishi test rigs designed and supplied

Save on development time by having a copy of your target system on your bench. Develop the target code in a local environment (coffee handy of course) then deploy with high confidence. Systems built to order.-

Labels look v. pixelated in offline test. Will they be like this on terminal?
ct8356 posted a topic in CX-Designer
The text in the labels in my project, that look nice and smooth-edged in the CXDesigner design area, look very pixelated in the offline test window. There is no anti-aliasing at all, so it seems. Does this mean they will look very pixelated on the terminal screen itself? Or is the offline test window a poor representation of what it will look like on the terminal?
