  1. Rx3i to Balluff IO Master

Wanting to write to Balluff Smart Lights via IO Link Master IP #BNI EIP-502-105-Z015.  I can find lots of literature on setting up the communication via E/IP in RSLogix 5000 but haven't located anything with Machine edition for writing the data over IP.  I am utilizing an Rx3i platform with IC695CPU315 and IC695ETM001 for network access
  2. I have Omron CP1H PLC and using Ethernet Option board to communicate through Ethernet. When I connect PLC to 2 Computer it starts malfunctioning and values in register get fluctuate. while I connect single HMI it works fine. Kindly give solution if anyone know.
  3. Help with CC - Link IE Field

Hi Im working with an iQ-R CPU wich controls 6 conveyors with a CC-Link IE Field Network, the CC-Link module is a RJ71EN71. Each conveyor has a remote I/O (NZ2GF2B1-16TE Digital outputs main module with a NZ2EX2B1-16D extension for Digital Inputs). The communication in the CC - Link IE Field diagnostic appears to be OK, but I can´t send or receive IO signals from the Batch Monitor of Gx Works 3. Thanks for your attention!
  4. FX5 CC-Link IEF Basic

hello. I have developed project with 3 FX3U PLCs with ENET modules for communicating between them, and one of fx3u connected by profibus with 2 fx2n-32DP-IF I/O station (developed just hardware). This project still wait when customer accept it. I'm exactly sure that it will work perfectly. But now i think about exchange old and expensive fx3u to fx5u. I search for best solution for this task on fx5. I have a doubt with I/O station. Each remote station consist of 32 inputs,16 outputs, 8 AI. So i considered as a solution CC-Link IE Basic because no need buy additional modules. Did someone use fx5 CC-Link IEF Basic? As i understand ie field basic configurations like simple rs485 cc-link with occupied station, not like full ie field. FX5U can be the master of CC-link IEF basic with embedded ethernet with 6 slaves station and can be local station with FX5-CCLIEF module. But i not sure that i can use fx5 with NZ2 CC-Link IE Field Remote I/O. I have a doubt with configuration this station, because in CC-link IEF i can add this station and see how many rx/ry rww/rwr points i need, but for CC-link IEF basic configuration i can add just CC-link IEF basic module and choose number of occupied station. Slave 1) NZ2GFCE3-32D + NZ2EX2S1-16T (32/16) and  NZ2GF2BN-60AD4 + NZ2EX2B-60AD4  (8 AI). Slave 2) NZ2GFCE3-32D + NZ2EX2S1-16T (32/16) and  NZ2GF2BN-60AD4 + NZ2EX2B-60AD4  (8 AI). So can it work if not what device can be used with CC-link IEF basic? What benefits can give cc link ie field basic network than ethernet socket connection via UDP between 3 fx5 plcs? Or easier way using ST lite series and try to connect via modbus tcp.(as i understand fx5 provide p502 and modbus tcp)
  5. Hi everybody. I'm just getting started with GX Works 3 and I feel a bit lost. If I have an external help file for my function blocks, how do I register this in the program? I can't find it anywhere when I double-click the fb library or in the e-manual Viewer. The file format is .CHM and I have imported this to GXW2 earlier.   /Niklas
  6. Mitsubishi CC link

Hello every one. can any one explane me maximum how many CC link card we can configure in one  QJ61BT11N module. and whwt is difference between CC link and Input/Output card
  7. Hai i want to know how to save and retain the values of the program even in Emergency power off the PLC and on again? can any one help me?
  8. Hello All! I am having difficulties mapping register values. In the TURCK register there are 24 unique register bytes corresponding to different value registers (8bit x 24). These 24(8bit) bytes were mapped into RSLOGIX 5000 as 12(16bit) INT words ....INT[12] .. This means there are 2 bytes (2 unique register values) inside each INT word. WHAT I NEED TO ACHIEVE: 1. (BLUE outline in drawing) Write/Map a value of "32" into byte 7 of the TURCK register so effectively starting at  INT[5].8 in RSLOGIX           Drawing1-Model.pdf This will enable the value of CNT1 (encoder count) to be registered in bytes 8-11... 2.  (PINK outline in drawing) READ/MAP the values registered in bytes8,9,10 and 11(4x8bits) into a SINGLE 32bit INT value which will tell me the CNT1 value of my encoder. I am having problems when ever I try to COP a value of 32 (no matter what kind of array it's sourced from) into INT[5].8 & I haven't tried to map/read the values of bytes 8-11 CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP EXPLAIN HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS?! Thanks for your input EVERYONE! :D Drawing1-Model.pdf
  9. CC-link no digital output

Hello, I have set up a new CC-link to add I/O to our existing factory PLC (Q03 series CPU). The CC-link system comprises of a master station (QJ61BT11N) and a remote device station (STlite STL-BT1) with several DI, DO and AD modules. Parameters are as per the STlite quick start guide example except no. of occupied stations is 3. In PLC Parameter I/O assignment the master station is a intelligent type and occupies 128 points from 0D00. Digital/analogue inputs are being read in the CPU and there are no error lights on either the master/remote stations. However digital output commands are not registered at the remote device station (LED lights on the module show which DO is active). Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm new to this and I've been hitting my head against a wall for a while on this one now. Cheers
  10. E1151 New Display Register

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have 4 test rigs setup with E1151 HMIs and FX3U PLCs (with two ADCs and one DAC).  They are running pretty well, and the HMI changes block fine when using Jump to Block, but when I try to get the PLC to change the HMI's block using the New Display Reg it becomes very temperamental. For automatic testing I want the PLC to prompt the HMI to change block, so I set it up with a PLC register, then set the HMI to use this register for the New display reg.  When I turn the PLC and HMI on I can run through the test, and at the end it changes screen perfectly.  However if I run the test again the HMI appears to "forget" to change screen.  I have checked the new display register and It lists the correct screen, but the HMI doesn't change. So far I have tried adding "SCRR" too the command list to use short recipe names (saw this on a previous post), and tried reducing the amount to data transfer between the HMI and PLC to see if it was a latency issue, but neither have worked. Has anyone else witnessed problems like this?
  11. io-link integration

I recently purchased a s7-1200 starter kit, a sm 1278 io-link modula and a io link linear sensor from turck. Un until now everything is installed and the sensor is cofigurated. Now the queastion is how do i get the value from the sensor into a tag in a datablock? As you can see in picture tia4 I started to fil in the device block but I could'nt figue everything out. (I am failry new to tia portal) With kind regards Dominique Hautekeete
  12. IR register operation

Hello, Can I add an offset value to IR register? for example, MOVR D0, IR0 and I have an offset value stored in D1, for example, &100, could I add the offset of D1 into IR0, to get IR0 pointing to D100? I know I can just do MOVR D100, IR0, but for purpose of versatility, I want an offset to be added in such a way. Thanks in advance. Xing
  13. I am adding a remote device to an existing cc-link network. The master station is an A1SJ61BT11 and the CPU is A2USHCPU-S1. The CC-Link network currently has 20 remote I/O stations and I am adding a remote device. The A1SJ61BT11 has parameters written to its internal memory. In order to add my new remote device, I think I need to only change two parameters: First, I need to change parameter address H1 from 20 to 21 since my device will be the 21st. Second, I need to change station information parameter address H34 from 277 to 4373 to enter it as remote device. I looked at the example in IB(NA)-66721-J(0310)MEE, section 6.3. In the example, they are setting up the parameters for the first time. However, I am only changing two of the parameters. I followed the example except I only entered rungs to change the parameters for H1 and H34. My question: If I run the parameter setting program to only enter parameters for H1 and H34, will it affect the other parameters the original programmer entered? Could they go back to default? Any advice? Thanks in advance
  14. Here is a link to a blog post that will use Excel VBA to communicate to the Omron Host Link. It program NETComm.ocx for the serial driver. Here is pat of the blog... In Part 1, we used VB6 to communicate from the computer to the PLC. We will now use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to accomplish the same task. NETComm will be the serial driver and Excel will be the program that we will use. Using Excel we will have access to the Excel Object Model so we can utilize worksheets, ranges etc. Please refer to Part 1 (How to Implement the Omron PLC Host Link Protocol) for the details of the wiring of the serial port and protocol sequence. Continue to the blog post... Thought that I would share. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, Garry
  15. Dear All I have some problem with CC Link IE module QJ71QF11-T2 Link to NZ2GF2B1-16D and NZ2GF2B1-16T the problem is I can not read/write to remote I/O at X1000/Y1100. please help me Thank in advance Thanya

  17. Hi, First time posting on here, but been a reader for a while. I have an issue with a Mitsubishi setup and I really need to resolve this ASAP. The system is based around a hot standby CPU (Q12PRH) on 6 slot backplates with a CC Link (QJ61BT11N) and Modbus (QJ71MB91). Connected to these racks is an ST Lite CC Link head station (STL-BT1) with 10 output cards (DO8) and 14 input cards (DI8). The CC Link has been set up in GX Works 2 and I don't have any ERR lights. What I do have, and don't want, is a flashing I/O LED on the ST Lite head which I have been reliably informed means the device hasn't been initialised. I have tried to do this using the X78, X79, Y78 and Y79 commands as the ST Lite head is set to occupy 4 slots, device ID is set to 1. Due to the Q CPU being a hot standby GXW 2 will not let me specify the start IO numbers, which would typically be x1000, y1000 based on their examples. I have therefore assumed it is starting at X0 and Y0, hence the X78, X79, Y78 and Y79 bits for setting the station. I have also tried using X1078, X1079, Y1078 and Y1079 as in the examples assuming it had auto addressed the start at 1000 and not 0000. Any help will be appreciated, Cheers.

  21. Trying to add points to a QLC link from WDPF to SLC5/04, incorporating a 1770-KF2 DH+ interface module. This link has been in place for years, incorporating only DCS reads (both digital and analog). We recently added several more DCS reads successfully, but cannot seem to get digital or analog DCS writes to be seen by the registers in the SLC5/04 data table. Could this be a limitation by the 1770-KF2 module, or is there a more probable reason? SLC5/04 DH+---------1770-KF2---------QLC Could Duplex settings on the 1770-KF2 module have a bearing on this dysfunction? Successful DCS analog reads PT101, N9:2, A0000 PT102, N9:3, A0002 DP103, N9:4, A0004 Unsuccessful DCS analog writes PV101, N9:18, A0500 PV102, N9:19, A0502 PV103, N9:20, A0504 Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  22. Combine 2 Machines with CC-Link

I would like to combine two existing machines with CC-Link. Each machine has a QJ61BT11N set up as its Master Station. The larger machine has 26 remote I/O and 4 remote devices. The smaller machine has 1 remote device (see the attachment). Each are already programmed and running. The larger machine has HMIs that I would like add screens to in order to control the smaller machine as well. The smaller machine would basically just need to send and receive a handful of signals... start, stop, manual, origin, e-stop, fire specific outputs, etc. What would be the best way(s) or simplest way(s) to connect and communicate between these machines? I am open to any advice and ideas. Thank you Machine_Addition_Via_CCLINK.bmp
  23. HMI on CC-link network

Hello, can someone recommend HMI's which can be connected to my cc-link network? or is it better to use a PLC on the cc-link network and attach the HMI to the PLC? I just find the GT16 very expensive and I believe they need CC-link IE? Thanks you.
