HI everyone, I'm new in Sysmac Studio and I entered recently in the IAG creation, I have a question, is it possible to edit directly in the main project (not the IAG project) a label into a IAG? My IAG project is composed by a rectangle and a label on this and i want to see the string that i write when i edit the label directly in the Sysmac.

I am attempting to connect a CAB brand SQUIX 4/600MP label printer to an Omron CJ2H-CPU64-EIP. I have tried many combinations of connection types and commands with no results. Our unit does not have the optional I/O connection or I would have used it. I have focused my efforts on RS232 and Ethernet. I realize this may be a generic request, but might anyone have experience connecting one of these printers or have a suggestion on how to accomplish this?

Hello everyone I have Mitsubishi HMI GS2110 WTBD- N. It is connected with FX5U with Ethernet protocol. I want to run a printer directly from HMI with RS 232 without using RS232 adapter card. Can someone please help me what to do and how to do. Regards

Has anyone found a way to put the UserAlarmViewer messages into a Label? I use 3 different alarm levels and would like to have a single line alarm banner. In NJ, I use an Array of Bool for triggers. In Siemens, I made a message banner that cycles through each message every 3 seconds from a text file and displays the string in a label. Logic is much different in Omron so rewriting is not possible, nor does Omron use VBA.

Dear Sir, Good day. I facing difficulty on using proface to print out the data using serial printer. I did follow all the instruction on proface reference manual but still fail to print out anything. Anyone here having experience on this issue? Thanks.

Hello everyone Im Programming a FXUJ with Gx works 3 V 1.063R, and it seems i ran out of Label area capacity for using a FB in addition Labels and i get a error where indicates i should choose label eassignment at rebuilding all but is greyed out so i cant select that option then when i head to Device/label Area memory setting m not able to change any setting. Does anybody knows how to Fix this or the reason of it? Thank you Once again.

Panelview Plus and network printing

I wish to print from a Panelview Plus 7 1500 to a Konica Minolta 'bizhub' 4402P. The printer is not on the same network as the machine but is reachable through a router to the corporate network. I already have this working on one machine but don't know how we succeeded in setting it up. The setup that works is: Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard (it's actually a Konica Minolta 4402P). Model: Color LaserJet 3800. Port 10.xx.xx.xx (the WAN address of the printer). Driver: wt5hpspd.dll (v52.1070) We never had a Color LaserJet 3800 but we may have had a black and white HP laser printer that worked with this driver and now works with the Konica when our IT department replaced it. When using Add Printer the system tries to connect with the specified IP address and fails (even though we can ping it) and then the drive installation stops. Does anyone know a way to force the installation so I can try to replicate the working setup? -
Hello, My previous topic was want to establish communication CP1E --> Videojeet Printer using RS232 serial cable. this project test SUCCESS. by the way distance from printer and PLC was very far almost 500meter. so printer technical team request to use tcp communication using cat5e cable. Problem: 1. I'm using TCP communication protocol that need me to have open,send,receive,close port. 2. Communication testing with PC Hyper Terminal --> OK but HT need in waiting call mode, i don't know why. 3. Using printer no result show. how i'm suppose to know communication already establish? 4. Communication setting on PLC Setting-Built in Enthernet need to add other communication device.? here i'm share some programs to give more understanding. Thanksm TCP with printer.cxp

We have an iQ-r R08cpu that will not display some labels or addresses. The PLC and the machine it controls run as expected. However, when we read from the PLC, some of the labels and addresses are not shown. Although it runs as expected, we are hesitant to make any changes or write to the PLC. There is a screenshot attached. Any advice or solutions for this?

I am trying to use arrays in the ladder command BMOV and want it assigned to devices. What I want is a string is stored on my HMI at D300 and it is 12 characters so it is really at D300, D301, D302, D303, D304. I can use DMOVE D300 D425 K5 and it will move the string. But I want to do it for a recipe where I cycle through all twelve recipes and get BMOV D300 D425 K5, then BMOVE D300 D430 D5, then BMOVE D300 D435 D5, etc. I have attempted everthing. The problem is when I try to do BMOV myString myList[Index] K5. I have to create a data type that is used by myList so I can have each entry assigned do D425, D430 etc. Any thoughts or hints.

Howdy, So the program I have has linked up and I've downloaded to the Omron NS-10 just fine... other than when I go to certain screens the text from all the descriptor labels are gone. I can't figure out if its a setting or if its just getting lost in transmission somewhere. Halp. Thanks,

Hi, New to the site, seeking help with an Inkjet Coder that the company I work for recently purchased. A customer is wanting us to have the printer message selection automated, because parts got out with the wrong print on them. We purchased a Linx 5900 and want to use the serial port on a slc 5/03 to send a command to select the message based on a selector switch's position. I've been pretty desperate trying to find help with this issue, because this is my first time messing with a printer. I've got the AWA instruction set up and it will send a string, but I'm not sure what to have in the string or if I have everything configured right. I've attached the program for you guys to look through, the AWA instructions are at the end of LAD 13. I'm using the serial port to make changes to the program then hooking it into the printer to try the changes out so its a bit frustrating, but I don't have a pc with windows xp sp2 so using the DH485 port is not an option. Good morning, I want to connect my Micro820 to a load cell, read its value and then send it to a printer so I can have a generate a label with the product's weight. I'm open about the printer model but I really don't know where to start and couldn't find any good articles about it. Does anybody know where I could find some more information about the subject or even program examples? Thank you

I wonder if anyone can recommend cable id printer? I know Brady is the leader in this field and I have used their products in the past but I wonder if anyone has used any other manufacturer they can comment on? I found the K-Sun Green Machine but I am not sure how does it compare to lets say Brady BMP71 and how much more expensive or cheaper their consumables are? Any other products worth mentioning?
