  1. Hi! I want to change the keyboard shortcut of bookmarks function in Sysmac Studio, but I can't found any way to do that. On the windows "Shortcut key customization" on Bookmarks section I see some dark grey rectangle on "ShortcutKey" column, and I can't edit or add key. On the Sysmac manual on the section A-5-7 - "changing shortcut keys" I read that Bookmarks shortcut keys can't changed if "Controller" is selected from the Setting Target Drop-down List. But I haven't any other option on the drop-down list, and I don't understand how to change that. How can I change Bookmarks shortcut keys? Sorry but I can't upload image on this topic, the forum tell me that there is a problem on upload and contact the administrator.   Andrea.

Hi all, I recently found out that you can turn on this option to allow the keyboard on your PC/laptop to enter values for data entry fields on the GT Simulator3 (screenshot attached).  I realize there are many people on this forum that probably already know about this but in case there is anyone out there that didn't already know...I hope you find this useful. This is a big deal to me because I like to thoroughly test my PLC code and HMIs/GOTs and now having to create screens with many entry-fields, being able to use the keyboard instead of dragging the mouse over the screen click here, click there just to enter values saves a lot of time and tedium. I wish someone had shown me this 12 months ago.  

  3. Logicmaster 6 Keyboard Translator Chart

    Hi, I was wondering if anybody could post a photo of the Logicmaster 6 IBM PC keyboard translator chart? This is a 'tear out' page from an appendix in the Logicmaster 6 programming manual. The 'Logicmaster 6 Programming and Documentation Software User Guide' Appendix C refers to this chart as follows: "This appendix contains a keyboard translator chart to use with the IBM-PC, PC-XT, PC-AT, or IBM-compatible personal computer. The chart has been printed in triplicate to provide you with extra copies. The sheet has also been formatted so that you can remove each copy of the chart from the manual for easier reference." All the hard copy manuals I can find have this keyboard chart removed and online pdf copies do not show this page. your help would be appreciated.
  4. Is it really not possible to use 2 shortcuts with FTView ME panels. When I try to create the runtime file (.mer), I am getting an error that can not be used 2 shortcuts. Is there any possibilities to make FTView ME connection with 2 different PLC's.
  5. Hello, I changed the shortcut of the HMI to the PLC and if I cycle power the shortcut comeback to what it was before. Does anybody knows how to keep the new shortcut?

    Hello, my name is Danu. I have a project to print label to SATO printer with CP1E from my weighing scale. I can print weight data in label, and i think i dont have a problem with SATO and weighing scale. My question is, can CP1E input the name of user with keyboard or HMI (especially NB7W (because i just have NB7W)) and save it in memory in CP1E? because i want print a label with name of user, weight data, and name of goods. And my second question is, Does Omron PLC have a type that has 3 RS232 or 1 RS232 with 2 optional board for RS485 (CP1W-CIF11) and RS232 (CP1W-CIF01) ? Thank you.
  7. details: panelview (2711P-RDT15C) connected to "switch A" (ntron p/n: F-716TX) "processor A " (1756-L62) is connected to "switch A" "processor B" (1756-L73S) is connected to "switch B" (ntron p/n: F-716TX) "switch B" is connected to "switch A" I'm trying to use a single panelview to communicate to 2 separate PLC processors (separate chassis). When I go to add the shortcut in factory talk I find the "processor B". When I connect my laptop to  "switch A" I can see every thing in RSlinxs.  Any one experience this issue or know how to make this setup work? Maybe there's a switch setting that is not allowing RSlinxs enterprise in the PV to see both processors? 
  8. Hi all, I would like to use the my FTView ME apllication pointing on differents PLC (as i have 10 exact same machines on the same network). I would like all the tag of my application called like this {[#1]xxxx} with #1 being able to be changed by pushing some button on the HMI and #1 will be the name of one of the 10 shortcut that i defined in my communication setup. Do you think that could work ? Using parameters could work ? Anybody tried that before ? Thanks  
  9. During run time on my KTP700 BASIC HMI panel, there is a keyboard pop-up screen that appears, when I press on an input field (for example, like the one in the inbuilt Logon pop-up screen). Is it possible to change the font size, and/or the size of the keys on this keyboard? How so? Thanks in advance.
