I am doing a data collection from OMRON PLC CP1L through MS excel VBA use API function. The connection was setuped correct (I think)both in PLC and PC side. The trick things is when PLC have USB cable connected the data was send to PLC and can get feedback through RS232 in normal.(I use portmon moniter the progress,and I can see the data (C-command ).But when I get the USB cable removed ,The PLC can not get any reponse back.Dose any of you have met that before?

Hello, I am trying to connect an OMRON CMP1-30CDR-A-V1 to my PC. I used a CQM1-CIF02 cable which I connected to RS232-USB converter and then to my laptop. Is this the right way to do it? I have seen on the OMRON website the attached diagram. Should we use that device or an RS232-USB converter will be enough? Also. I tired to use a PC with RS232 port directly but it also failed. Not able to make object "VBA contolled" (sos)

Dear Experts!!! Actually i have two problems : 1. I want to change the object (FT View SE v8.0) property to "VBA controlled". But its not allowing me to do it, like as you can see on the pic. 2. I want to make an array of objects in FT View like as shown in the pic (Image of VB form): the object name is azul and the index is 0 so the object shown in the pic is azul(0) VB Form code is : Private Sub Form_Load() Dim i As Integer For i = 1 To 224 Load gris(i) azul(i).Visible = True Next i azul(0).Visible = True For i = 0 To 224 azul(i).Top = gris(0).Top azul(i).Width = gris(0).Width Next i For i = 0 To 224 azul(i).Left = azul(0).Left + i * azul(0).Width Next i End Sub As you can clearly see in VB code I have created one object only, but rest of the objects are being created by Code only I want to do the same thing in FT View SE v8.0 Please please help!!!!! -

I wonder if anyone can recommend cable id printer? I know Brady is the leader in this field and I have used their products in the past but I wonder if anyone has used any other manufacturer they can comment on? I found the K-Sun Green Machine but I am not sure how does it compare to lets say Brady BMP71 and how much more expensive or cheaper their consumables are? Any other products worth mentioning?

I am using Allen Bradley PLC CPU 1769-L35E, MODULE 1769-****. What Cable lugs can you recommend for me to use? Are there any particular Manufacturer that can you suggest? I don't want to use Fork type. Maybe tubular or compression lugs. Klauke is kinda big. Thank you!

Hi there! I have CS1G-CPU42-V1 PLC and I have Cx_programmer V6. I want to connect the PLC/Program to my personal computer. So what type of cable should I use? Is this the type to be used? Does it normally comes with a cd driver? And do I have to identify the ports so my computer knows which input it is? << example photo only Please help me, experts. Thank you!
