  1. Hi there! I need to set up a communication link between an FX3GE PLC and a Melfa RV-2F-D robot with a CR750-D controller. Can I use the PLC's built in ethernet port for this? Is there a native driver for this (i.e. to read a register from the PLC into the robot controller)? Or should I use some kind of a no protocol communication? We also have a GT1455 in the setup and had in the past a solution where the robot was talking to an FX3U trough the HMI, but there was a lag in the communication which I would like to avoid. I am new to Mitsubishi so please bear with me. Thanks!
  2. Hi guys, I'm attempting to implement a fuzzy logic controller from scratch. I plan on using a lookup table to assist with retrieving the membership value. Does anyone know how to implement a lookup table. I know there is a L9P_LKUP block in the LL984 editor..except I'm not sure how to actually enter in the parameters or read from it.   Kind regards, Luchek

  4. Hi guys! As the title explains, i wanna move a value to 210 -> 220... is there a function for that or do i have to make a MOV for every single dataregistry (look at picture)? Its an mitsubishi FX3GE PLC programmed in GxWorks2. Br, Jim
  5. Let me try to explain this correctly..  I have a machine built and coded in Japan, so while I know 90% of the code and functions there are certain parts of the code I have never touched.    Today i started getting an error that is commented as E-Net, so I am assuming its an ETH I/O issue.. but the device is something I have never seen. U1C\G20480  Can someone explain to me what this device is or how it is used?

  9. For some reason, some of the symbol names and comments in my symbol table in my project have disappeared. They are present in a previous version of my project. I would like to copy the symbol table from the old project version into the new project version. Can I do this by simply copying a few files from the old project folder into the new project folder? Which ones?
  10. Hello again! This time I have issues with PWM Block in GX Works 2. Im using it to control output for Rudder Machine. S1 Time is Pulse time S2 is response wait time. I follow the rules that S1, S2 cannot be zero, N2<N1. I compile and run the program. Everything is ok, program works perfectly. Sometimes when I modify instructions in PWM Rung - i get an error No. Result Data Name Class Content Error Code 4 ERROR POU_01 Program compile Invalid list code 'PWM D992 D990 M1524'(Ladder Block No.7) F0161 I pinpoint that I use 2 block of PWM one for each side. They cannot work at the same time. See attachments with code Thank you in advance!
  11. I have a list of 100 faults for my machine. Each fault has an integer variable in the symbol table, containing an integer that matches its position in the list. Say I then want to add a fault in at position 12, I would then have to renumber all the following faults. Is there a built in way to do this automatically? Alternatively, if you have any other suggestions for achieving a similar thing, I would love hear them.
  12. I have had a GE 90-30 CPU331 in my house for 17 years with no trouble at all. I have a problem that I have never seen before. I was editing the program using LM90. I don't know what I could have done in the program to disable an output. Just 1. All the rest of the points in that group on that card still work. I swapped cards with no difference. All of the elements of the rung are true (highlighted). The output is not on or highlighted. The nickname over the output has ONE letter highlighted. The bit in the reference is "0" and is highlighted or "grayed out" (the cursor is not on it). I searched for coil conflicts. I am using this output contact lots of places but only one output. The logic is working correctly when I use another output or %M. This is an isolated output which needs to be in this group (moving it would be awkward). What does a "grayed out" reference bit mean?
