  1. NX1p2 Webserver

Hello,   Is there any easy way to make "HMI like webserver" for omron? I did not even found any examples how to make one. wago have very easy way to make webserver for your project. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjK9UNWqeEA )   Engineers need to use Hmi rarely, so webserver would save money. Every service engineer have laptops, but are not familar with plc, so we can't give them sysmac studio.   Feels stupid to change brand because we have allready used NX1p2 in many other applications. Is there any 3rd party options for webservers?   Thanks for answers!
  2. I am exploring a new machine with NX701 CPU. If I browse to the CPU on port 80 I get an authentication popup (username / password) which suggests that there is a web server running on the CPU. I can't find the username / password on the web or in the Sysmac Studio CPU configuration. Anyone know? Many thanks.
  3. Hi all, I am trying to communicate KEPServerEX with FX3GE vis UDP protocol. I have tried but unable to get data on Kepserver. While configuring communication properties in PLC we have configured PLC IP, PLC Port, Destination IP, but unable to find correct Destination Port. Although we tried various port nos like 49320, 57412, 57512, 56233, 1025, 32402, 57212, 57012, 57612, 57812 but there was bad quality data using UDP For same PLC using TCP/IP we were able to read all tags properly. This change in communication protocol is required as there are some PLCs whose communication port drops after few days of connection establishment (no error logged; can be re established with just restart). Someone from Mitsubishi said to try communication via UDP as it continuously fetch data regardless of kind of response received. If anybody has tried or have any solution, please do share.   Thanks
  4. Hi friends, The scene is like this... I have some 200 energy meters whose readings are continuously logged at 15-min intervals into a logging table. The meter does not have any other value logged. Let's consider these readings as analog tags. However these tag values are continuously increasing to ever larger numbers. Thus we have a problem for display on trends. Customer now requires that the Citect shows usage trends for any meter for a specified period of the past. That is to say, the meter that he wishes to observe is selected - along with a period typically between 2 dates (perhaps also with a sampling period) - and the trend must appear. So in other words, given a single trend object, how do you make values appear for any selected tag on this trend. Perhaps this can be overcome by some genie/super-genie mechanism. My approach to this is...For the selected meter, I use SQL to query the 15 minute logged values (also taking into account the required sampling period) taking the reading on starting date as initial. All values thereafter are subtracted -within the SQL query- and the result of this query is kept in a 2 dimensional array(x for time, Y for value) or a new database table so that the trend displays values starting with zero. This much I can do with Cicode. After this, I need a method to display the values so obtained in a trend object. Essentially this is the same as feeding a trend object with a set of X & Y values that I have in the form of an array or in a database table. I shall greatly appreciate any help to meet the above objective. Thanks for looking in. With best wishes.
  5. FX3GE Communication issue

Hi all, There's an issue I am facing for multiple FX3GE PLCs in a plant. Communication breaks between a PLC and OPC server. PLCs after few days (4-10) does not respond over ethernet. No ping response is received over network as well as when checked one to one direct connection. If I restart the PLC the connection is resumed and again after some days it goes down. Error LED on ethernet port does not glow red (no indication for error). If anybody has faced similar issue and has resolved, please share.
  6. I have a huge confusion regarding the retentive timers on FX3GE. According to the programming manual for FX3G(image attached), all retentive timers use the EEPROM. This is very confusing to me because the retentive timers are modifying the measured time constantly in an EEPROM register and EEPROM type of memory is known to be write limited. After a couple of million write cycles the EEPROM registers burnout. I've experienced this myself by constantly using the T250 and after a while it became unusable. The timer stopped counting time after some time. This leads to my decision that retentive timers on FX3GE PLCs are something that should бе used only on rare occasions so as to avoid EEPROM memory burnout. If this is true than the real question comes in: What is an alternative for using retentive timers on FX3GE when you want to measure time between two events. The instruction TTMR for teaching timer is appropriate however this instruction does not exist on FX3G series.
  7. Mitshubishi

hello everyone, i want read real data from PLC running (GX works 2)  send HMI Simulator (GT designer3) but i don't know how if you know, can you tutorial me how to connect it
  8. lost connection FX3GE

hi everyone i wish that you are fine i have this problem with PLC FX3GE and i lost the ping please if you have idea about this problem
  9. Need help in table scrolling

Hi all, We have a DOP 107CV HMI we interface this HMI with microcontroller through RS485 Modbus protocol. I'm new to HMI and PLC's although we are successful in interfacing HMI with Controller(Communication Established successfully) We made a table in HMI and allotted some registers to Modbus address and data is transferred from controller to HMI up to this we are good in communicating Since the table created is static and we cannot scroll down from that table so, to overcome this problem we found History buffer and made PLC trigger and allotted address. In that History Buffer we created 7 rows and the data is sample whenever we triggered the PLC in that case scrolling is working fine, but the problem we are facing is whenever we update 3 rows out of 7 and triggered the PLC only 3 samples are updated in first column and in the next step we updated the other 4 rows and triggered the PLC the data is sampled on next column but we required it to be sample on first column instead of second.
  10. The only thing I can find in help re using the buzzer is to use a multi function button. I want to use the buzzer as an alarm buzzer and turn on $SB13 or $SB14 from a bit in the PLC. Can anyone help please?
  11. Hello, I have a project in which a bar code sensor and PLC need to communicate. The sensor is a Sick CLP510-2000 and uses RS-232, PLC is FX3GE-40M and does not have any extra moduls, such as the FX3G-232-BD. I was hoping the comunicatiom would be possible trough the minidin8 cable, until I got to GX Works2. It looks like I need the RS or RS2 function, but in help it says it only works with the extra moduls. Does anybody know, how I could make a function, like RS or RS2, or use one of them without the modul? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer :)
  12. CS1D I/O Table

Hi Dears, My project configuration is according to below picture in CX-Programmer i define I/O Table, but i do'nt know how to fill main rack modules like CPU,SCU,Ethernet, . . .  also in expansion racks we have slot 0~9 and in my rack first slot is I/O Interface, and second slot is empty. my I/O table Configuration is ok? can anybody check it? I want to fill I/O table manually and not automatic with upload from PLC.   Best Regards
  13. Can anyone recommend software to securely and with version control enable the storage of PLC programs, HMI programs, config files, settings, visions files (files). I work in a factory with loads of different lines running siemens, AB, Ormon etc etc. Whenever we do an update or change settings the change is controlled on an excel sheet and the file or program saved to a windows folder. The problem is people can accidentally or otherwise delete or modify programs or files.  Id like a repository with a straight forward front end you select the asset (production line) upload the files\programs. This logs users and data input so revision, changes etc are all recorded for trace-ability.
  14. Read/Write data to PLC

Goodmorning a question... I builded a simple monitor of plc. I need to read the data of the Mitsubishi FX3GE PLC. In example I should read: D14  FLOAT 32bit D16  FLOAT 32bit alarms from M100 to M119 and a bit of state M450 How can I do this? The PLC is connected via ethernet and the port il 5002.  I'm working with PHP and normally use modbus, opc-ua, etc. But here? Thanks in advance Carlo
  15. TIA Portal multiuser

Hello! I'm very new to the TIA Portal, and i need some answers about Multiuser service. In the near future i need to program some PLC's with TIA Portal with my co worker simultaneously.. He told me that he  doesnt know, how this will work, because he dont know how the multiuser server works (+ needs license maybe?). In Step 7 we can program the PLC simultaneously, i just upload my FC to to PLC, and he works in another FC. He said that this is not the case with TIA Portal, and instead we need to exchange our projects frequently. But is it true? I need some license for this, and do some extra work, to work together with my co.worker? I only want to load my FC's into the PLC and my colleague load in another Fc's,DB's, etc.. Sorry for the beginner question, i never worked with TIA Portal.
  16. Hi I would like to know how to turn of COM.ERR LED on FX3GE PLC. If somebody has a tip, would be great. The FX3GE has, according to the documentation, a FX3-ENET-ADP module built in. Our setup: We have a FX3U as master and four slaves FX3GE. FX3U->FX3-ENET(Ethernet Module)->Ethernet switch -> Four FX3GE PLCs The code in FX3U reads and sends data with the library from Mitsubishi. Basically, it works, but out of nowhere there is an error 2558, Command block x00BF. And the LED is on. We have no malfunctioning on the machine. Subsequent commands/data get through. So, how do we clear the error LED? I have now read many documents and could not find a solution. It works in GXWorks2. There is a button on the "network diagnostic" dialog. But I cannot sit all the time at the customers site to manually clear the LED. It would be of course better, if no error occurs, but I was unable so far to find the correct settings. For example there are many timing settings on the FX3-ENET module to be set with FX Configurator. But I could not find the timing settings for the FX3-ENET-ADP and the help file  of the library says they should match. Further, what do you think, is it ok to run the library code to communicate with 4 PLC's unsynchronized? The master powers up and starts communication with all four slave PLC's at once. To be correct, I'm new to PLC's and don't know the exact execution time of the code/ladder blocks. But I found no synchronization mechanism only four times the same blocks with different IP's / ports fed in. It seems to me they run at more or less arbitrary time and with delays on the network...well....there may be interactions. Any tips or ideas are welcome!
  17. What am I doing wrong? I have an FX3GE PLC. I have set up the IP address 192.168.3.254 and I am able to connect with my laptop running GX Works2 version 1.501X. I also have a GS2107 that I have set up with IP address 192.168.3.18 (Default). I can communicate with my laptop running GT Designer3 version 1.151H. The HMI is still failing to communicate with the PLC. I have followed different threads on this forum, tried different port settings on the HMI. I have attached my settings. Is there anything else I need to set?
  18. Fx3ge to Fx3ge communication trough lan

Hello, For my assignment, I need to control lights from 2 seperate locations. I have two FX3GE-24M plc's connected through a LAN network. The idea is that when input X004 gets high, relays Y000 to Y004 gets disabled. I'm trying to use the Fixed Buffer communication protocol.  Master IP address: 192.168.1.80 Slave IP address: 192.168.1.81 I'm using GX Works2 together with the FX configurator  I'm lost in all the different datasheets... Could someone point me to the direction on what settings i need to change using fx configurator and a basic program of communication?  Thanks in advance, Dennis
  19. Hello.   I'm trying to communicate between two PLC's  using FINS function block _CPU011:ReceiveData.   PLC1: IP 192.168.1.50 (MASTER)   PLC2:IP 192.168.1.51 (SLAVE)   If I don't use »IP Address Table« everything works using NODE number &51.       The problem is that on the real project these two PLC's will be on different subnet.   For example:   PLC1: IP 192.168.1.50   PLC2: IP 192.168.2.50   So I will have to use »IP Address Table« to achieve communication between these two PLC's.   I tried to sett IP Address Table on MASTER: Node 1=192.168.2.50   But If I try to communicate I see that packet is sended to network but I've got error #1005.   Do I have to sett the SLAVE IP Address Table?   Hoe to do this?   What are the right settings for MASTER and SLAVE IP Address Table?     I'm attaching pictures of CARD settings.  I don't want to use CX-Integrator because I would like to make project to UPLOAD and forget.       Thanks.
  20. C500/C120 Support

Hi Could anybody tell me if the C500/C120 support tool in CX Programmer uploads the I/O table when it uploads the program from a C500. I have already backed up a program from a C500 using SYSWIN but SYSWIN doesn't allow me to edit, create or generate an I/O table, so when the program is downloaded to a sister machine, I get I/O errors that can't be cleared. Any help grateully received
  21. Hello everybody. I am looking for a solution for an FX3U with mounted FX3U-ENET on the right, to communicate with an FX3GE. I need to read and write some device in the FX3GE from the FX3U. I have made a paired connection in the FX3U-ENET module and made an MC connection in the FX3G. But how can I send or read data? Is there another solution apart from the MC-Protocoll? I am using GXW2 version 1.551z. Languages: ST or FBD Thank you in advance Dave
  22. HI Everyone,  Recently i have bought a plc fx3ge and gt2000 hmi .the problem is that whenever i use a device address d280.b1 in hmi .i am not able to use the same address in gx works for plc (LD D280.1).can anyone help me with this problem.
  23. We are communicating FX3GE PLC with Vijeo Citect SCADA. We tried various protocols such as MelsecNET, MelsecFX2N, Melsec1, etc. If you know how please help.
  24. Hi. I'm hoping someone can give me an answer on this problem I'm having with a FX3GE PLC. I am trying to get a FX3GE plc to communicate to a drive over RS485 using a FX3G-485-BD card. In GXworks2. But am having no luck.  I have tried changing the PLC communication settings in PLC parameters between CH1 and CH2, But am unable to get any communication working on the front port. I have also tested with a FX3G-232-BD RS232 card and have the same problems. There is no activity on the SD RD led's and no data being sent. If I put the FX3G-485-BD card in a FX3G or FX3S PLC I have running the same code it works fine. So the problem I'm having is with the FX3GE PLC Please can someone tell me what the difference is with the front Communication port on the FX3G and the FX3GE. And how I can get the FX3G-485-BD card working on the FX3GE PLC. Thanks
