  1. In 1 - sorry for my English level) 2 - please take a Look at the picture - pid with auto-tuning. The problem is the opener, speed want to control using pid. The speed depends on the loop. The idea - the loop above the sensor - the greater the speed of the decoiler. According to the program stored in SD6301 current high (analog input to which you've ultrasonic sensor), D1500 specified value. In D204 - output pid. I have the exit D204 either 0 or 9999. Help me?
  2. FX3U and FX5U Modbus RTU comparison

Hello. I have tested different type of communication between by rs485 fx3u and fx5u. On fx3u side used fx3u-485-adp-mb. In case of N:N and Parallel Link fx5u is more comfortable than fx3u. But, modbus rtu not so good. I made 3 tests: 1)FX3u master with ADPRW function; ADPRW in fx3u supports wider count of modbus functions, most usefull for me is H17 (Read/Write multipleregisters). But when i send telegram to Fx5u with this function, fx5u fall in error (recieved unsupports serial com functions). i have checked instruction manual on ADPRW - FX5u doesn't support H17, only H03 and H10. For read/write from fx5u need to use 2 instructions on FX3u side. 2)FX5u master with ADPRW function; In this test ofcourse i tried use H17, but result was expected - error. 3)FX5u master with predifined protocol. In this test using H17 function on Fx5u side was successful. Conclusion: FX5u better use as master for modbus rtu communications via predifined protocols, and if it used as slave need remember that it doesn't support H17. I hope this information will usefull for sombody.
  3. FX5U With E-terminal

I was looking for what drivers that should be used when connecting the new FX5U plc with the older E-1000 series (E1100 in this case) in e-designer 7. Intended connection method is ethernet on the FX5 (obviously) to Ethernet on the E-panel. I am sure this question will come up for several users so let's keep this thread as clean as possible. Has anyone done this Before? Here are the options available: /Niklas
  4. Good day  I require some assistance with the configuration setup (GX Works 3) for FX5u PLC inter-communication (PLC to PLC), over Ethernet (using the built-in Ethernet port). The purpose of the inter-connection is data exchange. (Values stored within the PLC storage registers such as words and bits).  Does anyone perhaps support files on this such as a procedure or example? Thanks
  5. hello Friends how can I Connect FX5U by direct RJ45 to download program on it and the type of cable should be cross cable or straight cable  Thanks .
  6. FX5 PLC loses impulses from encoder

Hello everyone!I have strange problem.I have plc, inverter (mitsubishi), incremental encoder (sick) and motor. When i set the frequency on the inverter about 1,5Hz, the plc correctly counts impulses, but every higher frequency causes the plc counts impulses incorrectly or doesnt count.  Above described things are happening at the rotation of motor in the forward direction. With a rotation of the motor to the rear, high-speed counter doesn't count the impulses. All the parameters of high-speed counters and PLC program i am sure there are right ( i'm using only instruction to start high-speed counting (HIOEN) and to enable interrupt (EI).  Input Response Time i had on "No setting" or 10micro-s and nothing.Type of encoder - A/B phase, HTL.PLC - FX5UPLC program - Gx works 3.Maybe somebody had similar problem? Maybe somebody could tell me where i need to look for the solve?   Thanks for help :)
  7. is it possible to import ETS file into FX5u PLC ?
  8. Hi, Anybody have used the FX5U with a E1000 panel? I try to connect to a E1071 using the MC-Protocol driver in the E-Designer. Usually in the GXW2 or IEC for the Ethernet I can setup the "Destination IP Address" to "255.255.255.255" (Broadcast Together), Choose port for both ends and voilà thanks in advance Best regards Dariusch
  9. Does anyone know if the FX2N modules such as FX2N-EX can be used with the FX5U? The plugs are compatible - and the colour is the same ;^) - but I suspect that they may have upped the speed of the bus, or made other changes. Thanks.
  10. Hello, I'm new to this forum and PLC world in general (especially to Mistubishi PLCs). I have a task in which I need to synchronize servomotor with another motor that runs conveyer (servomotor needs to stamp a label on a foil on a conveyer), in GX Works3. Servo motor is run by Simple Motion module. I need general tips on how to make pulses from encoder into something useful that can be used to send data to Simple Motion module. I need high speed counter to count pulses (never actually did this, I got this from manuals), how would I, for example, get speed out of it? Number n pulses, divide it with time it took to get to n pulses? How would I make Simple Motion to make servomotor on his Axis #1 to rotate at same speed?
  11. Hello everyone, I am controlling a mitsubishi servo amplifier type MR-J4-20A-RJ with a Mitsubishi FX5U PLC. I am using DDRVI instruction to output the pulses to the amp with pulse/sign connection. Servo seems to work as requested, and cumulative pulses in MR configurator make sense. The problem: I can follow the output pulses and get a "position" from special register SD5502. If i understand it correct, the register sums the pulses output. If drive the servo to other direction, the register keeps adding up the value, not subtracting it. As i am new to mitsubishi, what would be the right way to get the position data? Is it possible to use the special registers for it, or should i just connect the servo to output the cumulative encoder pulses to PLC?   Thank you all for your time!
  12. Hello everybody, I want make communication PLC FX5U series and HMI GS2107-WTBD. IP for PLC is 192.168.3.250 IP for HMI is 192.168.3.18 I can make upload programs via Ethernet. My Laptop , PLC and HMI are connected toghether via switch. But I could connect data between PLC and HMI. So what must name of device and how to set BIT for example, which must communicate PLC<---->HMI. (bit.jpg) In GT Designer communication also write that i couldn't connect HMI via PLC in red , you can see attached picture. (GS.jpg) smiles : Altan ------------------------ Solved. My error was that PLC and HMI must have different Station Number Special thanks to Piotr Tynor(Mitsubishi, Poland ) , Adam Syrek (Mitsubish, Poland ) , I. Ayvazova (Bulgaria) , K. Raykov (Bulgaria) /you can see atched .pdf file/ MTS0026 - FX5U and GOT2000 (1).pdf
  13. FX5U

Halo, i have question and asking for help. my factory use mitsubishi plc type fx5u. can anyone help me how to setting everything that make motor servo can run. PLC : FX5U Ampli Servo : MR-J4-70A Thank you for helping me.
  14. Hardware & software HMI - Beijer iX T12B / iX Developer 2.10PLC - Mitsubishi FX5U / GX Works3Error HMI shows "Controller 1: Comm err station 0". i.e., The HMI isn't getting a response from the PLC. IP addresses are all correct and ping (and can be programmed) OK. The HMI software PLC comms configuration has a "port" setting - see below. I can't find anything comparable on the the Mitsubishi software. Does anyone know what insight I'm missing here? iX Developer is configured as shown below: Note the port setting above. I can't find any documentation on what the PLC is expecting or what's special about 1025. The PLC is setup as below with GX Works3: Anyone got any ideas how to get the two talking? Many thanks.
  15. How do I check the program execution order in GX Works3? The help file says but there is no context menu option when I right-click any of the items in the Navigation / Project View. Any clues?
