  1. Hi, Many Programms we have are written in Codesys and in ST Language  and now we have a FX5U and I'm trying to Convert some of them. But the both Systems are different, I miss the Librarys like util.lib and FB like RAMP_REAL, BLINK, LIMITERROR which are in Util.lib. Are there Librarys like util.lib for GX Works 3 ? Is it possible to convert Ladder to ST? (I dont have any Idea from Ladder and I'm new in Programming)  Have someone Sample Programms for me for Training?

  4. Good Morning. I'm budgeting an application with the following FR-F720, FR-D720, GS2107 wtbd, FX5U-32MT / ESS equipment, I would like to know what network configuration for the application, I need accessory boards for the inverters, what physical arrangement it would be better for this application, which network would be used in the application, besides which function do I need to read and write in the inverters? Can I do CC link? If possible indicate materials that I can use to configure this application.
  5. Operation error

I am developing an application with fx5u with inverter d700, it fails to send a command to the inverter, only running the application and monitoring the clp does not appear to fail, only when it sends a command. Attached photo of plc configuration and error. Do you have any secrets to doing communication, can I do it with a normal network cable? I'm doing with just one inverter, as the terminator should be at 110 or 330 ohm.
  6. modbus application

I am making an application with a fx5u with 4 d700 inverter, what is the way to communicate with them and the configuration in gxworks3, someone has an example in ladder.
  7. Hello everybody, I have network from : PC - 192.168.3.11 PLC - 192.168.3.250 I change this option in FX5U PLC in GX Works3 for Network Ethernet port --> Application Setting -> Security -Disable Direct connect with MELSOFT : Enable/disable -DO not respond CPU module search : Respond / not respond and I upload program to PLC. After upload program to PLC and restart it was impossible to connect again. I Have ping between PLC and PC, but could't write program. Always writes me Error <ES:0180840b> So to disable Security Option you should to do : 1. Open Works3 2. New Project (Choose your PLC - FX5U) 3. Online menu 4. Specify Destination Communication 5. Click twice in PLC module 6. Set Connect via hub (In my case i connect PC and PLC directly !) 7. Choose IP Address ( in my project : 192.168.3.250 , PC must be in same network 192.168.3.X) 8. Give OK 9. Connect Test. With steps I disable security options and it was enable to connect to PLC and Write data on it. I Hope that will help to other with same problem. 8. Hello. There is a controller FX5U-32MP in the presence, the inscription "CC-Link IE Field Basic" and the Inverter (FR-A840-00170-E2-60) near the connector, the inscription "CC-Link IE Field Basic" on the front panel. I set up both devices according to the instructions. It turns out to read the state of the inverter (state, frequency). And I can not manage from the controller. Already all the settings that could have changed. Can you scribble what is wrong? p.s. Sorry for the bad english.
  9. Is it possible to upgrade the firmware in an NJ controller?
  10. How to allocate memory in rcpu to link datas of FXcpu . through CC link configuration
  11. In 1 - sorry for my English level) 2 - please take a Look at the picture - pid with auto-tuning. The problem is the opener, speed want to control using pid. The speed depends on the loop. The idea - the loop above the sensor - the greater the speed of the decoiler. According to the program stored in SD6301 current high (analog input to which you've ultrasonic sensor), D1500 specified value. In D204 - output pid. I have the exit D204 either 0 or 9999. Help me?
  12. FX3U and FX5U Modbus RTU comparison

Hello. I have tested different type of communication between by rs485 fx3u and fx5u. On fx3u side used fx3u-485-adp-mb. In case of N:N and Parallel Link fx5u is more comfortable than fx3u. But, modbus rtu not so good. I made 3 tests: 1)FX3u master with ADPRW function; ADPRW in fx3u supports wider count of modbus functions, most usefull for me is H17 (Read/Write multipleregisters). But when i send telegram to Fx5u with this function, fx5u fall in error (recieved unsupports serial com functions). i have checked instruction manual on ADPRW - FX5u doesn't support H17, only H03 and H10. For read/write from fx5u need to use 2 instructions on FX3u side. 2)FX5u master with ADPRW function; In this test ofcourse i tried use H17, but result was expected - error. 3)FX5u master with predifined protocol. In this test using H17 function on Fx5u side was successful. Conclusion: FX5u better use as master for modbus rtu communications via predifined protocols, and if it used as slave need remember that it doesn't support H17. I hope this information will usefull for sombody.
  13. FX5U With E-terminal

I was looking for what drivers that should be used when connecting the new FX5U plc with the older E-1000 series (E1100 in this case) in e-designer 7. Intended connection method is ethernet on the FX5 (obviously) to Ethernet on the E-panel. I am sure this question will come up for several users so let's keep this thread as clean as possible. Has anyone done this Before? Here are the options available: /Niklas
  14. Hello everyone, we have two damaged analog cards for CompactLogix PLC ( 1769-OF8C  & 1769-IF8) that we are going to replace. my experience is with Siemens and Schneider PLC's  but for Allen Bradley, not so much so my question is : are there any requirements or specification other than the part-number that could prevent the cards from going in service directly ? as for the firmware, series and so on ?  and do i need to do any extra work after replacing the card ? thank you Best Regards
  15. Good day  I require some assistance with the configuration setup (GX Works 3) for FX5u PLC inter-communication (PLC to PLC), over Ethernet (using the built-in Ethernet port). The purpose of the inter-connection is data exchange. (Values stored within the PLC storage registers such as words and bits).  Does anyone perhaps support files on this such as a procedure or example? Thanks
  16. hello Friends how can I Connect FX5U by direct RJ45 to download program on it and the type of cable should be cross cable or straight cable  Thanks .
  17. FX5 PLC loses impulses from encoder

Hello everyone!I have strange problem.I have plc, inverter (mitsubishi), incremental encoder (sick) and motor. When i set the frequency on the inverter about 1,5Hz, the plc correctly counts impulses, but every higher frequency causes the plc counts impulses incorrectly or doesnt count.  Above described things are happening at the rotation of motor in the forward direction. With a rotation of the motor to the rear, high-speed counter doesn't count the impulses. All the parameters of high-speed counters and PLC program i am sure there are right ( i'm using only instruction to start high-speed counting (HIOEN) and to enable interrupt (EI).  Input Response Time i had on "No setting" or 10micro-s and nothing.Type of encoder - A/B phase, HTL.PLC - FX5UPLC program - Gx works 3.Maybe somebody had similar problem? Maybe somebody could tell me where i need to look for the solve?   Thanks for help :)
  18. is it possible to import ETS file into FX5u PLC ?
  19. Hi, Anybody have used the FX5U with a E1000 panel? I try to connect to a E1071 using the MC-Protocol driver in the E-Designer. Usually in the GXW2 or IEC for the Ethernet I can setup the "Destination IP Address" to "255.255.255.255" (Broadcast Together), Choose port for both ends and voilà thanks in advance Best regards Dariusch
  20. Does anyone know if the FX2N modules such as FX2N-EX can be used with the FX5U? The plugs are compatible - and the colour is the same ;^) - but I suspect that they may have upped the speed of the bus, or made other changes. Thanks.
  21. Hello, I'm new to this forum and PLC world in general (especially to Mistubishi PLCs). I have a task in which I need to synchronize servomotor with another motor that runs conveyer (servomotor needs to stamp a label on a foil on a conveyer), in GX Works3. Servo motor is run by Simple Motion module. I need general tips on how to make pulses from encoder into something useful that can be used to send data to Simple Motion module. I need high speed counter to count pulses (never actually did this, I got this from manuals), how would I, for example, get speed out of it? Number n pulses, divide it with time it took to get to n pulses? How would I make Simple Motion to make servomotor on his Axis #1 to rotate at same speed?
  22. Hello everyone, I am controlling a mitsubishi servo amplifier type MR-J4-20A-RJ with a Mitsubishi FX5U PLC. I am using DDRVI instruction to output the pulses to the amp with pulse/sign connection. Servo seems to work as requested, and cumulative pulses in MR configurator make sense. The problem: I can follow the output pulses and get a "position" from special register SD5502. If i understand it correct, the register sums the pulses output. If drive the servo to other direction, the register keeps adding up the value, not subtracting it. As i am new to mitsubishi, what would be the right way to get the position data? Is it possible to use the special registers for it, or should i just connect the servo to output the cumulative encoder pulses to PLC?   Thank you all for your time!
  23. F940GOT firmware

Hi everybody, My client got a problem with F940GOT HMI, probably due to its lithium battery has dicharged. We have managed to find it and to replaced the battery, then have downloaded the working copy of the HMI program, which was uploaded from GOT to PC in good time, when the equipment was working fine. However after that not all is working well, something went wrong: there are unexpectable symbols on the HMI screen, undefined in the project... Perhaps, the HMI got a problem with its firmware... Therefore the questions are: 1) Where is to find the firmware? (may be somebody has it)  2) How to download the firmware into HMI? Thanks in advance for a quick answer and help, because the issue is quite urgent !
