    Hi guys I am trying to connect a Mitsubishi FX5U PLC to a Siemens WinCC RT Advanced. I did find a document on the Siemens side on how to configure the HMI, but I can't seem to find any instructions on how to configure it on the Mitsubishi side.   3. Hi, I have a problem because a TON Timer instance in an ST program does not start running. Is this a known limitation on FX5U CPU's or ST Language in General ? On the internet are some discussions, and there is a person which says it works for FX CPU's: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58463316/delay-timer-in-structured-text?noredirect=1&lq=1 But not for me.... And some discussions here in the forum: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/20864-plc-failing/ http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/37923-calling-a-timer-in-st-code/ The last one is interesting, but it did not helped in this simple case.   For clarification, I created a very small program in GX Works3 (v1.057K) The FB instance in Picture 1 works very well if one sets M10 to True. The ST instance in Picture 2 does not start when setting M20 to True. Has anybody a clue? Any help welcome DWIM  
  4. Hello everybody I have strange effects when connection MODBUS TCP IO-Boxses from my FX5U-80xx. So I thought about looking for network issues fixed in the firmware. So, the website below has firmware 1.201 and I have 1.110 currently.   5. I have a Mitsubishi FX5U-32M with 3 MR-JE-40C servos. Our system will be used in a robot cell, and needs to convey some information to the customers system, which is this EtherCAT side of things. They want to know RPM, torque values, position ,etc, of things on our system.. Our Mitsubishi supplier recommended an AnyBus X-Gateway (AB7961). They have a few YouTube videos on configurations, but unfortunately none on the Mitsubishi side i found. I've only been using Mitsubishi for a little over a year, but know my way around GX Works 3 pretty well.  I come from the Rockwell world with EDS Files and tag based setups, and for the life of me cant figure out where to start with this AnyBus. I've gone to the support page, got all the downloads and software, and gotten online with the Anybus. As far as beginning to setup the Anybus in GX Works side, to setup what registers i want to send, im lost... Anyone out there have experience with this sort of thing?
  6. Can I download an old program (written with RS Logix 500 version 5.2) into a newer SLC 5/04 Series C with a higher FRN than my copy of RS Logix supports? I don't want to use any newer functionality. Just wanting to get a spare 5/04 and load the application software on so it is ready to swap out in the event of a failure. I see some 5/04's on eBay that are new in box but have a FRN of 11 which wasn't out at the time my version of RSLogix was created.

  9. Dear all, Do you have some ready examples for Mitsubishi fx5u where you use PID ? I use two analog input from 0-10V and two PLC output and I want to head 2 heaters. So how can I use PID autotuning? As I see in examples in manual, there also have other parameters, which I must set, except PID function. Thanks in advance . :)
  10. Hello!  I'm learning how to use mitsubishi MELSEC fx5u-32mr-es and an hmi panel mitsubishi electric got2000 model GT2104-PMBD. I have no trouble programming the PLC and also I managed to display a layout on the hmi but I ran into trouble with: How to connect the PLC and hmi directly via ethernet. I tried to connect them but the hmi says there is a comm error.  How to run a simulation using gt simulator. I made a program in gx works 3 and a design in gt designer 3, started to simulate but it says that the PLC type of the project is different from setting gt simulator 3. I checked the gt designer there I selected the PLC model FX, which as the only logical choice and in gx works I use the correct PLC/CPU (fx5u) so I'm kinda in a blind spot.  I hope someone out there can help me troubleshoot this problem since i need it in order to compete on a national level.  Best Regards. 
  11. Hi all,  I am trying to update the firmware of a NS12-TS01B-V2. I have downloaded the RecoverUpdate_8_95.exe (and someothers) from the myomron website. I have followed the instrucctions PDF, but when I switch on the HMI with the Compact Flash inserted, nothing happens: the screen is dark and the led is lit orange (not blinking).  The compact flash is 1GB (not omron) and formated using a CJ2. I have been using this card in OMRON PLCs and HMIs for years without problems.  I read in other topic than I guy had similar problems and he solved it using other computer and other unzipper program. I have tried it, but it did not work.  After that, I tried to update it using the DIP switches, but I got more problems, because I got a Warning first, and later an Error, because I forced the installation of the Firmware of the NS8 (BANK1) instead of the NS12. However, the other BANK folder contains the FW for the NS5... Anyway, I could fix this error because previously I did a backup of the already installed system (V7.0). I would like to ask you to send me a BackUp of another NS12, using the "Manual Transfer", that should works. I need the 8.20 version or higher.  Thanks a lot.  My email is hector.moreno.lax@gmail.com
  12. Dear All, 2094-BM01-SA0192 was installed on a machine, now we are installing 2094-BM01-SB1111 Problem is that when we Power ON, it start showing 0,1,2 and remains on 2 while in old SA0192, it goes to 1,2,3 and 4 then comes to normal display. can anyone suggest the solution? waiting

    I am using FX5U-32MT/DS, FX5-40SSC-S and the PLC Open blocks. I am getting an Power-up procedure error status signal. Any suggestions on how to track this down? Or should I do away with block and replace it with Un\G# codes. If so what should I use to make sure the drives are ready?

Good day, I am new in mitsubishi and have a question about how build built in ethernet communication on fx5u fw 1.050 gx3 1.047 with smc ex260 sen1, where i need send 2 bytes and receive 4 bytes can u help me? I try to send data with this format 2#0000000100000001 and send by Ethernet Active Tcp connection library where I have added the external device configuration ip and port SMC EX260 SEN1, I think I needed use a CIP protocol and port 44818 or Ethernet/ip, maybe I need add a ENET module to use this communication between my devices?   19. I have a fx5u plc connected to 2 keyence sr 1000 qr code scanners using plc link. On random times the plc error light will light up and all ethernet connection will be disconnected and i cannot connect to the plc with gx works 3. If i put the plc in stop mode tho i can connect to the plc. I do not know what error code is causing this because each time i connect the error code is missing. The problem starts when the plc is in run mode. Can anyone help me with this as this is a persistent bug that keeps on happening in my system?
  20. Hello everyone, I am new to Mitsubishi PLC. My device is  IQ-F series FX5u-80 and GX Works 3 to set up parameters using ST. I need to implement a function that waits for a confirmation signal in order to continue to the next step of the program.  I though about another way by using a delay function instead of confirmation single for testing purpose
  21. Hey guys, I've question about Transient transmission (TT) via CC-link using FX5 as a master. According to chapter 4.3 in "FX5 User's Manual (CC-Link)" only way to access TT is via computer with GXworks3. Is there some workaround to use standalone FX5?   Thanks again

    Does anyone have any experience with the recently released user web interface for the iQ-F and iQ-R series. Supported by GX Works3 version 1.047Z or later, the firmware Version 1.100 or later. We have the sample user web interface running in a FX5U, its working very smoothly.   24. Hi ! I have to Control and Read an Masss Flow Controller (MFC) MKS MF-1, I have give this one an IP Adress (10.46.103.75). How can I Control it over Modbus TCP? I found in GX Works 3 in Tool/Predifined Protocol Support function the Modbus Menue, but i have no Idea how to Config it, i have no Idea how Modbus works..... Have someone an Example for a Configuration?
