  1. Hallo everyone, i have a logix5561 PLC wich control a pumpsystem. The Pump is driven by a linear Motor. I need to perform frequency tests on the system. So first of all i  want to know how i can generate sine wave with this controller? I google it but didn't find any valuable information.   Can i perform such tests without additional hardware?  thanks for your replys!
  2. Hello, I'm trying to execute the loopback test on the RS-422 built-in port of GX3GE-40M. I connected the TxD pins to RxD pins (+ to +, - to - ). I'm trying to use the function rs2 (later the plc should communicate with a bar code reader). I have tryed all possible connections, to see if the PLC can read the signal as well as transmit it. It manages to transmit the signal, but I cannot get it to read it. Could someone help me troubleshoot if the problem is in the program portion?  I'm working in GX Works2 Thanks for any and all help test_plk.gxw
  3. Pls any one help me to simulate my omron HMI program with CPM 2A PLC  Means help me to communicate cx designer with CPM 2A plc Or with NT- series  support tool
  4. Hi every one, I'm new here. Is there any CC-Link IE field basic master or simulator that can be use on Windows PC, for testing  CC-Link IE field basic slave communication ?   Thanks in advance
  5. Hello folks,   I am a rookie, self-training in PLC programming. I have written an SFC exercise (attached ACD file). I also try to call STL written subroutines and add-on instructions, from within the SFC main program. Calling the created subroutine works fine, but calling the add-on instruction fails from a reason which is above my level. I tried, tried and tried different solutions, with no avail. I am either wrong in writing the add-on (perhaps some missing but missing tag ?), or wrong is calling it. Can someone please give me a hint on what I do wrong ?   Thank you, Radu PS . I use Studio 5000 v24, combined with RSLogix 5000 Emulator.     SFC_trial.ACD
  6. Continuous sine wave problem

Hi,  I encountered specific problem during work with PLC&HMI application. The main task of that system is controlling torque changes of induction motor with inverter&analog PLC output. There are few built-in functions to change torque: exponential, constant, trapeze and unlucky sine. All functions are implemented as array of 1500 values. When array reaches 1499 element, it comes back on first position and so on. It works without any problem for exp, constant, trapeze and sine wave with natural numbers of frequency e.g. 1Hz, 3Hz etc. The trouble appears when we want to control torque with float value of frequency and unfortunately its the most important part of that project. When the float value frequency is chosen, the last element of array is totally different than the first one. In result, in every period of array, appears drop of value. Check the attachments to comprehend what's going on. The first image shows GXWorks restriction of index. The second image shows how does it look on simulate screen, where it's representation of PLC registers D2000 - D3499. On third and fourth images you see values of registers in Device Memory Batch of GXWorks. Fifth image shows the script which I work on. Do you have any ideas how to implement float values of frequency in correct way? I should make an opportunity to online change of sine frequency in continuous way between 0 and 10 Hz, with 0.2Hz step. I will be very grateful for any advice.  Greetings, J
  7. Start Ladder Logic Test

Hi, there! I had got GX-Developer Ver.8, which is very different from the plc programs that I have learned before. I have read many tutorials and watch it but I still don't know how to start ladder logic test. Many other people simply click on 'start or end ladder logic test' but mine was greyed. Anyone has solution? Or I just missed a couple steps of simulation? Though it is very basic problem, I will put a deep gratitude for your reply.
  8. Save on development time by having a copy of your target system on your bench.  Develop the target code in a local environment (coffee handy of course)  then deploy with high confidence.  Systems built to order.
  9. Selling the drives below. Rapid company expansion came to a halt and our vendor is not offering what we need for reimbursement. Prices shown are already wholesale rated, however, I'm open to negotiating. Numbers spaced between the model number and unit price are quantities that are being sold. Serial numbers can be provided to verify age, but these are all brand new-old stock. 10. The text in the labels in my project, that look nice and smooth-edged in the CXDesigner design area, look very pixelated in the offline test window. There is no anti-aliasing at all, so it seems. Does this mean they will look very pixelated on the terminal screen itself? Or is the offline test window a poor representation of what it will look like on the terminal?
  11. frequency converter

Hi guys I Have Question of Propo variator converter that there kind of drives her PHASE IN (230v) AND Nature / OUTPUT TO THE ENGINE 3 PHASE (UVW)? -or if required entry 3 phase (RST) and output TO MOTOR 3 phase (UVW)? I would be happy to answer :)
