  1. I have a 1747-L30B SLC Brick and it is set to load from EEPROM on boot S:5/8, Error S:1/10, and Run S:1/12. I need to make changes to the program and then store it to EEPROM via "Comms>EEPROM>Store to EEPROM."  When I attempt to store the program with changes, it displays the message "Insufficient Memory Module Size." I assumed the EEPROM memory was maxed out, but I also uploaded the existing program currently stored to EEPROM, made no changes, and attempted storing it back to EEPROM and received the same message. Any advice?
  2. I have a huge confusion regarding the retentive timers on FX3GE. According to the programming manual for FX3G(image attached), all retentive timers use the EEPROM. This is very confusing to me because the retentive timers are modifying the measured time constantly in an EEPROM register and EEPROM type of memory is known to be write limited. After a couple of million write cycles the EEPROM registers burnout. I've experienced this myself by constantly using the T250 and after a while it became unusable. The timer stopped counting time after some time. This leads to my decision that retentive timers on FX3GE PLCs are something that should бе used only on rare occasions so as to avoid EEPROM memory burnout. If this is true than the real question comes in: What is an alternative for using retentive timers on FX3GE when you want to measure time between two events. The instruction TTMR for teaching timer is appropriate however this instruction does not exist on FX3G series.
  3. I thought only PLC5's had EEPROM, but I was told MicroLogix PLC's also have an EEPROM that need to be burned to... What are all the PLC's that have EEPROM and require an EEPROM burn to prevent the program from being wiped in a power cycle?
  4. FX2N - 48MR (MELSEC)

Hi everyone! I buy a new Mitsubishi FX2N - 48MR PLC. I just want to asked If I can directly removed the EEPROM from the old PLC and transfer it to the new one without losing the data?
  5. FX-EEPROM-16 problem

Hi everyone, I have a problem with an FX-EEPROM that is mounted in an FX3U The eeprom has a switch (protect sw) that is in off position, it seems that someone remove the eeprom card from the plc while the supply was still on. I put back the eeprom to the PLC but a parameter error appears. This eeprom contains the program of the PLC. Anyone knows how to remove this error? Thanks in advance
  6. Hi I have problem to find eeprom bin or hex file to eeprom message memory on XBT-A72101. EEPROM is X28HC64P-12 and its dead complitly (before show message EEPROM FAULT, but after few restarts goes to runnig not now) . I have new empty eeprom and programmer but i don't have firmware file and can't read old memory beacouse not working.  Could be somebody help me with this file. Best Regards. Michal.
  7. Hello, Can a password protected PLC be updated with a help a memory cassette? The documentation states that it is not possible. But if the memory cassette is protected with the same keyword? Thank you.
