  1. Hi there!   I'm trying to communicate a Weintek cMT2128X with a CP2EN via Ethernet. The thing is I'm getting 'No device response' messages every 2-3 seconds. They'are connected at some point because some values are updated, but the connection error keeps showing up. So far I've checked: - Comm. settings are okay in both sides - Wiring is good - Happens the same with a CJ2 CPU. - There are two arrays of 50 UINT each, I don't know if that's slowing things but that would surprise me...   I've worked with Weintek HMIs before (communicating with different CPUs: LOGO!, CP1, CJ2...) and never had this problem. I just set the IP addresses and everything was working fine, so I guess I'm missing something. Hope you can throw some light at this! Thanks in advance
  2. HI All,  I have an issue with my SCU32 communication.  Back ground Two SCU32s  (top and bottom side) connected via a 1100M datacable  using port1 ( 9600bps,  8-2-E, start code FF, end code FE, Tx save to d1000-d1200 , Rx save to d2000-d2200). PORT2 of bottom SCU32 is connected to a compass( 2 wire, 8-1-N, 19200 bps, serial gateway MODBUS ). Refer to photo Issue  Without compass, the receiving data at top is very stable and is didn't see any fluctuation. But if is compass is connected at bottom side port2, there is a fluctuation at the top side RX data(specifically d2000-d2005 ) .  I checked the data a bottom side TX (d1000-d1200) and it is stable. Only after sending the data and Receiving at Top side, then only the starting words fluctuate. I am not sure sure what is wrong, I am using logical ports for the DTXDU/DRXDU and compass.   Appreciate all your feedback and suggestions.
  3. Hello. I can't find any related bits wich would indicate PLC offline / online status. I'm using two PLC's. PLC0 Modbus TCP (Ethernet) PLC1 Modbus RTU (Serial) Please help me to get online status. BR, Andrej.
  4. Hey Guys,    This is my first time on a forum like this! but i need a hand with something if someone could point me in the right direction.   I have a Powerflex 40 drive communicating over Ethernet/IP to a switch, That drive has four Powerflex 4's connected to it thru DSI connection. They seemed to be wired correctly and seem to be sound connections but when someone on the production hits an E-Stop it removes power from this bank of drives. (Which is standard here) . However, when they power back up i get an F081 Error (Comms lost) on the master drive and one slave. Also, the port light on the 20-comm-e(Powerflex 40) is faintly flashing about every 5 seconds and is the only light on. In this state, none of them communicate. However, when i unplug the DSI cable, the 20-comm-e powers back up to normal operation. I then plug the DSI back in and everything works fine.  Should i start replacing parts or is there some parameters/other wiring i could check?   Thanks guys.
  5. Lets say i have a PLC, with a name PLC1 with IP/Subnet of 10.125.34.243/255.255.255.0 I have to communicate this PLC1 with 2 other PLC's, PLC2 and PLC3 PLC2 with IP/Subnet of 10.125.34.10/255.255.0.0 PLC3 with IP/Subnet of 10.125.46.10/255.255.0.0 I imagine that, all these three are in different subnets, and so there should be no communication at all, but when i tested it, PLC1 to talking to/from PLC2 and not PLC3.  anyone know the answer to this ? How does it talk to PLC2 with different subnet, but not PLC3 which is in different subnet as well.
  6. PAROCK1 for HMI/SCADA View File Now a software solution is available for your Modbus (MB) needs in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Control Logix or Compact Logix (Clgx) family processors, instead of a traditional 3rd party hardware like Prosoft MVI-56, Molex SST-SR4-CLX-RLL etc.  It is an Add-on instruction (AOI) for PLC/PAC firmware v16 or later, (other solutions are available for pre v16 systems).  For hardware interface, use PLC’s channel 0 (serial) or TCP/IP Interface module(s) to have as many MB TCP/IP devices or serial devices.  (Some limits apply based on system configurations, Comm. settings depending on HW used.) Connect any MB Client/Master or Server/Slave device(s) to your CLgx PLC, including flow computers, analyzers, VFDs, Power Monitors, Level gauges, Smart I/O, etc.  All the MB public/native function codes are supported.  32-Bit integers/floats as single entity are supported with byte and word level swapping. A separate utility automates the data mapping to your PLC logic.  Features -Serial Master (BASIC required Option); TCP; Slave; Redundancy; More than 5000 accumulative registers; MB CFC (Custom/Private Function Code) Support; Data mapping too – Between PAROCK1 & your PLC logic; Packaged with Rockwell; TCP/IP Interface Module; Volume Discounts; Annual Support Requirements -Rockwell/AB-CLgx processor with v16 or later.  Contact PCI for earlier versions. -If using CPU’s Chan0, you cannot use Chan0 for any other user mode activity. You can use it for non-user mode activities -TCP/IP Interface Modules from Rockwell/AB supported, are: -1756-EN2xx ControlLogix® Ethernet/IP communication modules, firmware revision 5.007 or later -1756-EWEB ControlLogix Ethernet/IP web server module, firmware revision 4.006 or later -1768-EWEB CompactLogix Ethernet/IP web server module, firmware revision 1.002 or later -1769-L30ER, 1769-L30ERM, 1769-L30ER-NSE, 1769-L33ER, 1769-L33ERM, and 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix controllers, firmware revision 20.011 or later -1769-L24ER-QB1B, 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B, 1769-L27ERM-QBFC1B CompactLogix controllers, firmware revision 20.011 or later -1769-L16ER, 1769-L18ER, 1769-L18ERM CompactLogix controllers, firmware revision 20.011 or later Other Related Services/Items -Custom PLC Add-on instructions building -PLC upgrades, troubleshooting, applications -PC Windows, iOS5, Linux, Mobile devices Comm. Drivers -Custom development, Technology Transfer Services  -Other Non-AB communication drivers for serial or TCP  -Full control system integration, training, architecture design This driver can be conviniently used with Visual Studio in development of complete large scale complex HMI/SCADA Systems. It can be used to perform advanced reporting MES, analytics, IoT, Big data type apps.
