Im having some trouble with a PLC and looking for a some help. Whats happening is output number 3 is stuck on. I thought maybe it was just the PLC. I pulled the program tried it on a new PLC with no luck. I checked for faults and the handheld shows no major faults. The output that is stuck on is for a door, its telling it that the door is open. Any help would be great.

Hi everyone, I need some help with my PLC programming. I am currently using a twincat 2 software and a Beckhoff CX 8090. Basically, the gist of my program is to send and receive data and datalog the input data received from the sensors and timestamp the received data for every 1 second. I want to create a boot up counter where it will count the number of times my data logging program has restarted(if it did). This boot up counter serves as a health monitoring check to ensure that my program is running perfectly and thus, not restarting randomly when it shouldn't. I am more familiar with structured text so if you have a solution, kindly post it in structured text form. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, DeadPool

I wold like to create an alarm history list that can be scrolled through from most resent to 1st. Is this possible with the Panelview 800 7"? We were able to create a page but it holds only 25 alarms and you can't scroll back.

HELLO dear friensds ive been recently working with nq designer and i was trying to define some ALARMs on my program that if any of specified values changed the alarm appears on the HMI screen but the problem is that i dont know how to create alarms and what are the steps of making one i have seen some contents that said we have to use S0014 or S004 ...but that is all i see on net can any one please help me make some alarms its really urgent and my project has to be done soon !! **The PLC is : CJ2M **The HMI is :NQ5-MQ000-B **** THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE ****

Hai, I have some question. How can i modify the limit alarm on runtime project via screen.cim? I want to modify limit alarm value on the point ID with other point ID (Type Virtual), but i can not find the field to fill the point ID (virtual). Please give me some solution for this problem.

Hello all, I am new to this forum and it happens to ask a question here. Any advice would be much appreciated! I have created alarm display for PVP 6 600 using FTV Studio ME 8.00 (CPR 9 SR 7). The problem is the alarm time stamp was not fit with the column width. I was unable to find way to adjust the column width of the alarm list object. I am using Courier font, size 10, 4 lines per alarm. The max no of characters in alarm message is 33 characters including spaces. Aung

Hi, Is there any setup to manage alarms in one PLC from multiple CX-Supervisor runtimes running on different computers? If I get an alarm, it shows up on both runtimes. If I acknowledge from one runtime, I also want it to be gone from the list in the other runtimes.

I need help with a program I wrote for school that didn't work quite right. I have to make a chasing light program that will freeze the lights when a PB is engaged and reverse when PB is engaged on light 1. The assignment has already been turned in but our instructor ( if you want to call him that) has told us a similar sequence will be on the final. Can anyone help me out??

Dear Sir, I need to update the PLC program offline with online, so I tried to compare the program blocks but I got the error that The comparison of the two blocks in STL showed that codes are identical. Hi Guys, In my project i am in need of switching language from English to Spanish and vice versa.For all displays,i switched to the needed language according to the working operator. In alarm history message,If i am in English language mode means,alarm messages also in English and same for Spanish. My issue is alarm messages were not changed to the current language mode.It keep staying in language which were in current mode while it occured. Please find the attachment, NOTE:Example attachment only. My question is,how can i get the occurred messages in current language? Help me to sort this. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a problem when trying to download a program from a FX1S-30MT PLC. I am using a SC-09 USB cable. The software i am using is GX Developer 8. When trying to download the MAIN program the screen in the attachment appears. I tested the download from another PLC of same model and have no problems, therefore the cable is ok, and the laptop is ok. When downloading of the parameters and comments does not give error, just when trying to download MAIN. Also I tested connection with Test Connection button and says communication is ok. Anyone who can help? I have a doubt, how can i see the communication parameters on the PLC side? Thanks a lot

Hello, First of all, Hello to all members. Im From Portugal. I trying to help my dad. I Have a Omron CJ1M-CPU11 with a program running that works fine... Now i need to transfer this program to a CJ1M-CPU13. I started to download from CJ1M-CPU11 to a file... them im running the Cx-programer on the CJ1M-CPU13, connection its ok, but when i try to transfer i get this error : The connect PLC type : CJ1M-CPU11 The Project PLC type : CJ1M-CPU13 Its possible to convert ? Hello: I'm not sure how to go about creating the structure of this program, would like some ideas/help. I have a program that checks/reads 8 analog inputs and compares each input against 4 different settings, if the value is outside any of these settings the program runs a subroutine to send out an email for (Alarm/Event) notification for that particular input. The way the program is structured now is that it reads analog input 0 first and checks against the settings if the reading is not in range it will call a subroutine to send out email for that sensor(analog AI:0.0) then it will return and read for Analog input #1 and check reading and if it needs to it will call another subroutine to send out email for that sensor(analog AI:0.1) and so forth. What I need to add, is a way to count how many times a sensor(input) has sent the alarm email because I want to limit this to 5 notifications after that, stop sending emails. Now this has to be done for each sensor(input).(Note: I would also like to have a timer involved so that it will only send emails about every 15 minutes for 5 counts.) I need this because the plc will send out emails until the error for the sensor has been corrected, this could take a few hours and if I don't have some sort of control, that would result in 1000's of emails being sent and world probably get shut down for spamming. Would like some ideas on how I should go about this. I am using a micrologix 1100 and rslogix 500 software. Thanks

I am writing a new program for a MicroLogix 1500 LRP Series C. When I verify the project I get the following errors: Program error ERROR: Attempted to set more IO data than has been allocated Program error ERROR: Incorrect Output Force File Size The IO Configuration should be correct because I had the software "Read IO Config". I don't see any unverified rungs. My software is RSLogix 500 Version 9.00.00 (CPR 9) Does anyone have a solution?
