  2. Festo CECC-S

Hello everyone, I need little help. Im using FESTO's CECC-S controller, and im trying to make a web visualization. So i make working visualization, add web visu object, bind mine visualization to it, and then, when i start program, i should be able to see it via browser, yet i cant. I guess that i have to configure/start server on PLC but i cant find the way to do so. I cant find any kind of option where i configure server settings, ports, addresses, etc.. Anyone has any experience with this? And yes, i took CECC-S controller specifically because it has integrated server.. Thanks in advance, Mahasematman

  4. Short backstory: We have a machine programmed with AB that has several banks of air solenoids.  This is an older machine so the solenoid banks are of the older variety.  On each bank there is a pressure switch that is outputted into a Allen Bradley 1734 Safety RIO module.  We are adding new modules to this machine after about 10 years and the Mec Eng. chose Festo CPX banks, but they did not put pressure switches on them. Question: Is it a requirement (OSHA, OMAC, ISO...etc. any of them really) to have a pressure switch for air module?  Or are they used to just make the machine smarter?  The big concern that I have is that the customer will notice that these new CPX's don't have pressure switches to monitor the status of the air like every other bank on the machine, then questions will be asked...yatta yatta...

  7. EtherCAT Festo CTEU-EC

Hi, I have an NJ with 14 EtherCAT Slaves. 4 of them are Festo CTEU-EC. Once these are connected I am unable to compare and merge with network as node "node address out of Range", when I try and "write slave address" I can see they are all 0 even though they are set with different addresses. the ESI file I am using is (Festo CTEU-EtherCAT Modular v6). Has anybody had this problem?
