hello all , whenever I start wincc with Alarm and Tag run time , the wincc start but deactivates before full start ? I have the start log and I attached it . What could be the problem ? Note : If I disable both of these runtimes the wincc start but with a message on screen signifying that no connection to database is established and of course no tag change is possible . Hello , I am trying to find the descrption of error 0180 in diagnostic log of wincc . Whenever I try to activate wincc project I get that error . If I uncheck the alarm logging runtime I get an error 424d which I also did not find any description in wincc help . If uncheck both the wincc starts but of course without tag or alarm logging and alarm on screen " can not connect to data server" .

Hello , I am trying to set up an MPI connection with a CP5611 Profibus Card . The old PC that held the program have had a hard disk and motherboard failure so I had to reinstall the CP5611 card in another pc and load the original software there . I tried to follow the instruction in order to setup a PC/PG station but I can not communicate with CP5611 card from simatic netpro . It is obvious that I am doing it wrong as the CP5611 card is being recognized by Win2000 . When I do the s7 connection , it is required to fill the Local ID, Partner, and Partner Address . where can I find these ? I request help from an experienced user of Simatic net . I attach the original program without the PC/PG station . Scrub_swr.zip

Hi , I am using a wincc 5.1 for an s7/300 project . I reinstalled the software of wincc and now every time I open the project and try to activate it deactivates immediately . what could be the problem ? Is it an authorization problem ? thanks alik
