    Auto Configuration Failed! The device at the configured station number is NOT a 1770-KF2 device! Possible solution The device RSLinx found at the specified station is not a 1770-KF2 device. Check the station number and/or device type in the driver configuration dialog box. Auto Configuration Failed! The KF2 device at the configured station number is NOT set to DH+ mode! Possible solution The device RSLinx found at the specified station is a KF2, but it is not operating in DH mode. Reset the KF2 to operate in DH mode. From Allen-Bradley! Also try this RSLinx Forum

    It is possible your com port on the NT computer is not configured for com 1... I would check that first...

    Just a suggestion, are you sure the serial port on the NT system is in fact configured for port 1? Try a few other ports on the RSLinx configuration screen.
  5. SLC-5/03. Can I add more timers?

    But isn't it true he could simply increase the size of his T4 file to 256? The range for the SLC I believe is 9-256. Or he could add another timer file T(x) if he has less than 255 data files used? I believe to add a Data File you will have to download, but to increase the size of an existing file, like Okie said just go to program mode...
  6. Connecting a SLC5/04 to a PC with DH485

    Sorry a little off topic here... Your saying the 1747-CP3 cable is "null modem" then what would the 2711-NC13 be? Looking at the wiring diagram it (2711-NC13) is 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9 Wouldn't this be null modem wiring? Because I can't get my CP3 to connect me with the PanelView directly where they recomend the 2711-NC13 for this purpose.... danielcamach0@yahoo.com.mx
