  1. I had done that and it worked,,, for a a few days.   Then codemeter started shutting down on its own and i couldn't restart it.  I am in the process of removing all factorytalk from the computer and starting over.  Thanks for the reply
  2. I have a computer that started having problems with FactoryTalk software.  I found that the codemeter service was stopping and i could not restart it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled FactoryTalk Activation manager.  This seemed to fix the issue.  I could then open all of the factorytalk software except for Logix 5000 V24.  When i tried to open it and connect to one of our controllers it would lock up.  i found that the CodeMeter service had stopped working again.  this time i could go into services and start it.  it would run for a minute then stop again.  I removed all FactoryTalk Software from the computer and started to do fresh install on all of it.  Everything installed excet FTviewSE V9.  It fails with Error 1722.  CodeMeter still stops.  Any help and guidance is appreciated.
  3. Cant install FTView Studio

Has anyone had a problem installing FTView Studio ME on Windows 7?  I had it running on XP with no issues.  I then had to get a different computer and I now can't get it to install.  There is a problem with the SQL server 2008
  4. Is there a way to run Factorytalk view on multiple monitors?  I am running FactoryTalk view on a Stealth computer and would like to display different systems on two different screens.  Right now there are two screens but they are the exact same.  I would like to display an HMI project "display" on one monitor and a different "display" on the other so that the user will have more information and control open at one time without switching between screens.  I am thinking I can do this by running two FT view projects on the computer and open one project on one monitor and the other on the second monitor.  Are there any issues with this or is it even possible to have two open?  If it is possible I could split the HMI project up into two projects and run them simultaneously.  Any help with this would be appreciated. thanks
