    I've ran into this issue with several of the computers at work.  The only thing that seems to work for me is to boot into safe mode and install all the software.  To do this, click on the windows logo on the start bar and type "msconfig".   Open the application and go to the boot tab.  Select Safe Boot, hit apply, and reboot the computer.  Once you've installed all the software, go back into msconfig and turn off Safe Boot.   Hope this helps.
