using say a M580 CPU, PLC,  rack then using the solink TM3XTYS4 module     Split rack : remote rack for I/O to the MPDs, contactors,    use say M221 rack with the solink module for linking to MPDS, contactors,       Then comms link to main M580 rack from the M221,             Is this feasible ?

has anyone had experience of using Solink for Schneider wiring MPDs/contactors to I/O ? can Solink be used with any Schneider PLC rack ?

thanks guys, I think it is where the set bit 'current high alarm'  is being held high by the latched timed output . I placed  a 'clear' bit in between the output from timer, and the set coil 'current high alarm'

is ok, current high alarm is a 'set' bit from a timer block, looking at the timer block, Q output is high (which feeds current high alarm coil), even though current high alarm bit is reset elsewhere   is being held high from the output Q from the timer block ?  

hi I am currently simulating plc and GOT HMI program on pc, GX Works 2   when I look at ladder logic, output coil stays on, even when one of the input bits is off ? (current_high_alarm)   why is this ?

hi   I am new to GX Works 2, and also a bit rusty on PLC software development, does anyone have a good reference (PDF, web link etc)  for the keyboard shortcuts in GX Works 2 ? I did not realise for example that to update a function block all you had to do was type 'm' (function block name begins with 'm') on keyboard and re-select the block, apologies if this detail is in the manuals somewhere, but I have not been able to find it thanks in advance for any help
