S7-300 CPU is in STOP due to a Profibus failure. We have a facility with a Profibus master CPU and multiple modules with Profibus interface and when we insert the memory card with the CPU program does not change to RUN, it stays in STOP. Hi Sergio: when you will have new problema with the program and the CPU will go to STOP you can have a look to the online information and the diagnostics of the CPU at TIA Portal. You will find the reason the CPU go STOP and you can find some trip to find the solution. Yes you are right: But in the explanation at link attached you can configure the TIA Portal Project with the touch screen to communicate with the S7-200. And at TIA portal you cannot select the PPI connection. Then, the correct way to communicate with the touch screen is like the link shows... I need to control the robot UR3 universal robots by a PLC Siemens S7-1200. for the momento I want to control the robot by digital signals: satart, stop, but in the future I need to control it by Profinet. Exactly: When you switch off the FC, all the output inside the FC will remain activated if they were activated in the momento that you deactivate the FC. This is why your Q0.0 will remain activated. Hi: you can remove the cables if you need it, But better for the CPU is to do it without power in the CPU.
