    Thanks for the input I will try this. I inherited this laptop when I get took the job a month ago and have only recently tried comms with rslinx.
  3. After configuring RS 232 df1 driver I cannot see the processor in the RS who window. "WHY" I can go to rs logix and upload from the PLC but I never see the processor or my laptop on the RS who window. Using 1761-cbl-pm02 cable laptop is running Windows 8 my com port is com1
