  1. Memory cassette FX3U-FLROM

Hi Wal, Ever thought about using a direct connection trough the internet to your machines instead of sending an EEPROM module? This takes time to arrive on location. I have good results with simple eWon Cosy 141 secure routers. (see: www.ewon.biz ) for more info. It can communicate with Ethernet or serial to your PLC. Best regards, Theo V.
  2. IP Address for FX3U-ENET-ADP

Hi Aricolton, I had the same experience with my first FX3G PLC with a left hand Ethernet module+adapter. I could not program this with GX developer or FX configurator-EN. Ater a call to the distributor I used GXWorks2 (Version1.98) instead and that worked fine. First of all I made a connection trought the USB port to set the IP for the first time however, if you use the default IP it should work too. After that first transfer I was able to connect trough the Ethernet directly. In GX-Works2 you have to check the communication settings in the program tree section. (sorry I can not make a screenshot at the moment) Question: did you try to use a (Windows) PING command from your computer to check the Ethernet port with the default IP? Also remember if you change the Ethernet port settings you have to powercycle the PLC (switch off and on the powersupply) to have the settings effective. And check if your computer has the same IP range as you want for the PLC (192.168.3.xxx) And last, do you connect trough a HUB/Switch or directly from the PC tot the PLC port. In the last case you might need a RJ45 cross cable but I'm not sure about that. Kind regards, Theo V.
  3. Connect FX2N-AD to FX3GE PLC

Hi Inntele, This afternoon I made a test configuration on the workbench with the two extra analogue modules using the RD3A and WR3A instructions. This went very well. (the adresses where as expected K0 and K1) I callibrated the zero and span at the modules because i have 4-20mA sensors and a 0-10V out for a frequency inverter. Only thing I need to do now is to make an average reading for the FX2N-2AD because the reading at the GOT1455 was very fluctuating. The internal I/O where very easy to make the average just one rung! I have an example in the datasheet so I will try this soon to make this work also. If not I will get back here. Thanks to all who replied on my topic. Best regards, Theo
  4. Connect FX2N-AD to FX3GE PLC

Hi Everybody, I bought a new type PLC Mitsubishi FX3GE with on-board analogue in and ouputs. I like to add 2 extra modules at the right hand side, a FX2N-2AD and a FX2N-2DA. I'm not sure if the adresses to read de data from and to the cards is K0 and K1 since the internal on-board inputs are not using a TO and FROM instruction but using Markers and D8280 to read value of CH1 and D8281. This is very new to me so please anyone...? I'm using GX-Works2 V1.98 with a simple ladder programming. Regards, Theo (reply in Dutch is welcome but English is also no problem)
  5. Connect FX2N-AD to FX3GE PLC

Inntele, Thank you for the reply. I will try to use the RD3A and WR3A instructions to see if this works. I will not ask for other languages than English, You are right about using an uniform language at this forum. (newbie strat up failure) @ Sparky, I had these FX2N modules in stock so I want to use it. I know that there are also left hand modules with the adapterboard. Thanks so far, Theo
