I have a PanelMate hmi and I need an activation key for the software I'm using this for an aquarium at my house and quote for the software was $1400 and I'm not paying that for some number and help would be great

ELC PV28NNDR with ELC COEMNETM and HMI06CE panel I've got the rs 232 cable hooked up to the network card but the HMI shows com error 3 can't read...can't write. When I plug the 232 into the PLC I lose my power light but the other cards still show a power light. Need help getting these two to talk. No program in the plc and only a tester in the hmi, can't get the plc to talk to my computer either....

The tds (total dissolved solids) probe and temp probe are one unit the ph is separate. Elc-an04annn card how do I set these up for the plc to read, from what I understand they need a 4-20ma transmitter....can anyone one shed some light on this or point me in the right direction? This is for a saltwater aquarium for what it's worth.
