Hi All, I've not done Mitsi for several years. Have a project using the GX works 3 and wondered if it's possible to use non-memory allocated tags (Example "MotorStart") instead of the typical "M10" memory bits within the HMI application. Can't see a way and don't think it's possible? Thanks for any help in advance Chris  

I use some inputs of this card for print registration so interplolate a position of an axis based on CST timestamp as you suggest. I also need to quickly detect a rising edge of an input and a not interested in the position of an axis. Would a standard input module be quicker than the SOE card when changed to COS mode?

Hi Ken, Thanks for that. It is a 1756 series system and the Input card is on the local rack. Its a IB16ISOE card though and doesnt have the state-change option as far as I can tell.

Hi All, I have a high speed application and need to create a short routine that interogates a single digital input. In RSL 500 you could do an immediate input read. Is there a way to do this or something similar in RSL 5000? Chris
