  2. Hello Everyone, I thought I would post in this topic as it is sort of related. However I am monitoring ONLINE to PLC (not simulator). I have a question also about monitoring of variables using WATCH within a function block. My plc = NJ501-1400 ; Sysmac studio = V1.30 I create my own FB called FESTO-CMMT_SERVO and create instance called "fb_Festo" within program0. See 1.png below. I then double click on my instance, see 2.png, however as you will see when I 'watch' some of the variables which are used in the instance, it shows "-". Why is this? This is probably very basic question! Many thanks Kelad.
