  1. Transmission problem BARCODESCANNER to CP1L-EM

there WILL be a set up option in the scanner to set <CR><LF> after each valid read of a barcode, your Comm port IS looking for this before it will give you what has been read. You WILL need the patch cable between the RS232/USB convertor. I also think your code is incorrect as I have spent quite a while trying to get my own scanner to work! This may help you.

  4. Siemens micromaster Vector 6SE3213-6CA40

I have found the new micromaster quite easy to program up! I guess it depends on the application though and if you can get the params out from the old drive! http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/v...view/en/5824173 Anyway I hope this helps!
  5. Humor

A man in a hot air balloon realising he was lost reduced altitude to see if he could spot anyone to ask directions. After a while he spotted a man below and shouted "excuse me, can you help? I promised a friend that I would meet him an hour ago but I don't know where I am." The man below replied "You are in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You are between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and 59 and 60 degrees west longitude" "You must be an engineer!" said the balloonist. "I am!" replied the man "how did you know?" he asked. "Well," said the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct but I have no idea what to do with the information, and the fact is, I am still lost and you are no help whatsoever!" The man below responded "and you must be a manager" "I am!" replied the balloonist, "how did you know?" "well" said the man, " you don't know where you are or have any idea where your going. You have risen to where you are due to a large amount of hot air. You have made a promise that you have no idea on how to keep. and you expect people below to solve your problems for you. the fact is that you are in exactly the same position that you were before we met, but now, somehow, it's my fault!"
  6. s7-200 password

the only thing i can suggest is deleting the memory from the cpu. if thats not possible then your out of luck as there is no "back door" way in.
  7. Connection plc and vb

X_GET and XPUT comm blocks work in MPI protocol or by its subset PPI protocol can read data from a Simens CPU S7-200 Another way should be implement a PPI protocol in your PC or buy a MPI driver for your PC. Hope this helps!
