Thanks. That worked out just fine.

I have an NT631C-V2 that I cannot upload the program from. I am using NTST V4.6 and when I attempt to upload the program I get a time out error. Com A is setup for PLC communications and Com B is used for programming. Is there anything in the settings that would prevent uploading from the PT? If Com B is bad on the PT is there another way to upload the program? I have used the programming cable on other NT series screens and have had no issues with it.

Does anyone know of a way to convert an NT program from an NT631-V2 touch screen to an NS program for an NS10 touch screen? Other than just writing a new program altogether.

On an NS panel you will use a USB programming cable to upload/download programs. All you should have to do is open CX-Designer and plug the USB cable into your laptop and into the "slave" USB port on the HMI. Then click on "PT" on the top menu of Designer; then click on "Transfer"; and then click on "Transfer [From PT]...". A pop-up screen should open asking if you want to transfer, click yes and then you will be asked to pick a location to the save the file as well as give it a file name, then click on "OK" and the transfer should begin. As far as I know of there is no way to go online with CX-Designer, you can only upload/download programs and modifications can only be done offline. Hope this helps.

I found out that if you save the data areas to a file, you can open the old memory file and the new memory file and then copy and paste from the old to the new.

I am having to upgrade a C200HG plc to a CS1G-H plc. Does anyone know of a way to convert the C200HG memory file to a CS1G-H memory file? I have it saved to a file and would rather be able to convert it instead of manually entering the data into the new plc memory data area.

Problem getting CS1W-ETN11 to connect using ethernet

You may also need to setup a routing table in the network settings. -
Thanks, Bob. I got it figured out, just had to add 7 to the Start Date calculations. I have attached the modified file if you want to check it out. I also have it where the touchscreen auto updates to the plc clock as well. Daylight Savings Usage.cxp

Bob, one more question. How do I adjust the function block calculations for the start date and end date for Daylight Savings Time? The function block is calculating that the start date for this year as March 3 when it was actually March 10 and the end date as November 24 when it is actually November 3.

Those worked perfectly and thanks for posts.

Thanks BobB. I will give this a try.

I have a auto reset set up using the Date/Time comparison function that requires the part detect sensors to be checked at the beginning of every shift. The problem arises when the time changes for daylight savings time and I have to go sync all of the plc clocks with a laptop. Is there a way to do this through an NS series touch screen where the internal PT clock can be used to adjust the PLC clock?
