old SRM1 and SRT2, whats the modern currently produced equivalent?
gtsuport replied to mflux_gamblej's topic in Omron
SRM master for the CJ series plc's would be CJ1W-SRM21. These are showing a stock item with Omron US. gtsuport. -
Make sure dip switch #5 is ON.

SCL instruction converts unsigned binary to unsigned BCD. SCL3 converts signed BCD to signed binary. An offset can be entered. Please see programming manual for examples. https://www.omron-ap.com/data_pdf/mnu/w451-e1-03_cp1h_cp1l.pdf?id=1778 gtsuport

Cable would be the same with the converter.
-
See the link below. This will allow you to connect to the 9 pin port. Port needs to be configured for Host Link.

Check the node setting switch on the front of plc2. 16^1 = 0 16^0 = D gtsuport

Replacement per Omron would be a CJ2M. Would need to know if there are inner boards in the CQM1H. You would either need to readdress the IO in the program or modify the starting address of the modules. CJ2 is free addressing, address depends on placement in the rack. CQM1H inputs started a channel 0, outputs started at channel 100. Good Luck. gtsuport

Guessing that is a CQM1H-SCB41. Port 1 should be RS232, Port 2 RS422/485. You should be able to connect with this cable. https://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/files/file/349-universal-cable-for-omron-9-pin-port/

You are not monitoring in the Memory (inset) window. In the third row of icons from the top, click on the icon all the way to the right. This will turn on monitoring in that window. gtsuport

FINS address should be the last octet of the IP address gtsuport

Equivalent to the "SET OUT RESET" instruction in the CX-Programmer
gtsuport replied to Wojtiqs's topic in CX-Programmer
Take a look at DIFU. Also, in the CJ series, contact instructions can be differentiated. In classic input mode, look in the bottom left of the dialog box. gtsuport -
You should be able to connect to the plc over USB. This would allow you to check the error log.

What is the IP address of the cpu? What other devices are connected to the network?
-
See attached from the W465 manual

In CX-Programmer, go to Settings in the Project Workspace on the left. There are tabs for setting the parameters for the serial ports. gtsuport

The PRO15 can be attached directly to the C40P. You can program the entire program with this console. There is an adapter that would need to be used with the PRO27. Adapter is part number 3G2A5-AP003. PRO27 also needs a cable, C200H-CN222. gtsuport
-
What is the complete part number of your plc?
-
Garry, The C40P was a processor in Europe. North American version was the C40K. gtsuport
-
You must use a host link to connect to the C40P. There is no way to connect a computer directly to that controller. gtsuport
-
Looks to me like you have the Lite version. For the CJ plc's you would need the Full version. gtsuport
