Hi, I just want to connect 8 485 scanner to a 1734 -485 asc module.... Is it possible that 1734 asc can support multiple slave connection,,, If not can some tell me which Comm module for Compact logix support this option.. Regards, Nelliyan.G

Go to the Factory Talk directory configuratuion wizard,, Create a new login credentials ,,, Now use these credentials in View Se for logon . Hope it helps Regards, Nelliyan.G

Hi all, I was trying to communicate my pc with compact logix plc.... using logix 5000 software... I was able to view the PLC in Rslinx. In logix 5000 ,,, in set project path .... i was able to view the plc ,,, if i place the cursor on the interface in the communication path ---- Download,Upload ,Set project path buttons were disabled,,,, But i was able to communicate with the controller using another PC... i perform the same procedure ,,, i was able to upload ,download.. What could be error on my PC ,any one experienced this problem,,, My PC is Win 7, 32 bit .. Installation went without any error Regards, Nelliyan.G

Modbus Master/Slave Network Interface Module for CompactLogix MVI69-MCM or Modbus Serial Enhanced Communication Module MVI69E-MBS I was told to select a product that support modbuss communciaiton between compact logix & some field devices... I found these 2 modules,, but not able to find teh differenc between these.... Also how about powering theese modules... it was told like 5 v @ 800 ma this can achived via just connecting the cable & field devices..Is that so??? HI , I just want to convert 232 t0 485 so i just planned to go with 1761 Net Aic,, but later i was told to use 1747 Net Aic while studying 1747 support 485 to 485 like a coupler in some other links it was said that it converts 232 to 485 also with signal boost.... Hi, Dont know ur plc & software ur using If 200 / Microwin u can't expect this running bit only done bit after timer completion. If 300/400/1200/ET200 the timer on status & timer completed status can be monitored.. C the images for details Timer Bits img show that the timer was on & Timer bits 1 show s that the timer was on & done bits IN - On or Running Bit Q - Done Bit Hope it helps, Nelliyan.G

hi, In ur hmi configure a bit & in the properties - > events -> value change create a event - activate screen [ enter the screen name ] . use this bit in the logic whenever u switch this tag u can switch that screen. Similarly create a another tag & activate ur home screen using that bit... Regards, Nelliyan.G

Hi , I am new to Omron PLC's & i have a big problem in the memory usage... I am using PLC – OMRON CJ1M –CPU11 & cx programmer as software As for as now Input 0.00 ---- 0.15 etc Output 10.00 ----- 10.15 etc these are based on the I/O of the cpu used... A0.00 etc can be used as memory tags. when i was trying, a0.00 can be assigned for contact but not for coil.. W0.00 can be assigned for both coil & Contact.. What are the retentive ranges??? ....All functions having BCD & Binary functions how to differentiate???? My problem i cant understand what are the flags present & there respective characteristics.. Hi, I am using vijeo designer v 4.6.. Now in my HMI program i was supposed to change a screen whenever user switches from Manual mode to Auto mode..... In this case i want to do it with out touching the screen that means automatically tht screen trigger or screen change must happen.... I did this scenario in siemens HMI program.... I want to know whether it s possible in vijeo designer and if it can be how to perform the process.... Pls guide me... Thanks in Advance
