ok... tx. This app would be used for a PLC that is used in home automation. The idea was that it should not have the same screen as the general HMI panels. Seems it will not be possible and we'll stuck to the HMI panels, taken by the phone. much thanks for all answers!

Hello, I discovered that there are multiple modes in cx-designer. * Developer mode (ctrl-shift-D) (used for SAP's) * Mitsubishi mode (ctrl-m) * Expansion CIP Device mode (ctrl-n) Does anybody knows for what these modes are used? Tx. This is the method we use for the moment, but the problem is that CF cards are not that common (fe. SD cards) and the readers are not integrated in all pc/laptop... Therefor, we search a new method via USB cable (for CJ2/CP1 PLC) gr.

Hello, We use sometimes the PLC Backup tool from CX Programmer. Is there some possibility to use this tool without CX-Programmer installed on a pc. We want to send the backup to a customer which has not Omron software on their pc. I also found a backup tool in the download area: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=254 This is an old program that is not updated anymore. Is there a new version that supports CJ1/CJ2 plc? Already thanks.

Hello, I'm using Omron CP1E-N30 plc. First port is a serial port, that is connected to an HMI screen (NQ3) Second port is used for Modbus communication to inverters. Programmation is done over USB. I want to connect remotely on this plc. Does anyone has a tested solution to connect to OMRON PLC remotely over USB? I tried a USB server (USB port made available over a network). This software recognises the USB device as an Omron PLC, but when i try to connect in CX-Programmer, i get a BSOD (No_more_IRP_Stack_Locations) already thanks.

Hello, When i have to download an NS terminal that contains recipes (data block), the existing recipes are deleted. Is there somewhere in the software an option to download without overwriting the existing datablock data? Allready thanks.
