  1. Under Application Settings is a Control Tags Tab. On this tab you can set up a Screen Control Tag. Point it to a Register in your PLC then Write the Screen Number you want to "Pop Up" to that register and the Screen Control Tag will change the screen to the one that matches the number in the register. Just remember to write a zero to the register after the condition is acknowledged or corrected. Hope this helps Chad
  2. http://www.ab.com/manuals/cp/1761-um003a-en-p.pdf User Manual for Micrologix 1000 Explains in detail how the addressing scheme in implemented Hope this answers your questions
  3. SLC5/03 & Semiens Tp170a

77 Data size returned does not match scan lists entry (node number alternately flashes). Reconfigure your module and change the addressing. Thanks Ken, this is the error on the SDN. I have all the modules mapped for I/O only, except the Analog Combo which has configuration info. As for your other question we are using VG616-G5U drives w/ SI-N interface cards. If the drives are not enabled then a zero speed is sent. And the only problem I have ever had with DNet is a FlexI/O Adapter fault which is usually cleared by cycling the 24v to the adapter. And as for EDS files I found your 515 files here http://www.odva.org/10_2/05_fp_tech.htm Labbench.dnt
  4. One of my lines has a similar setup except we use Yaskawa drives. I COPY the M1 file into a N file using S4:1 which is a 40ms pulse this enables you to monitor all your drive status info.
  5. Hello everyone I just discovered this site last night and this is my first post. I have created a "Test Station" at work to test motors, sensors, and anything else that we want to play with. It is made of spare parts which include a SLC5/03, 4ch Analog out, HSCE Module, and a SDN Module. The user interface is a Semiens TP170a. I am having 2 problems with this setup the first is probably my ignorance, every time power is cycled I have to reconfigure the scanlist in the SDN Module there is only 1 other node a Flex I/O Adapter w/16 in , 16 out, and Analog combo. I have read parts of the SDN User Manual but this has not helped. The second problem is the Touch Panel I have no problems writing to the SLC but am unable to pull any information out of the SLC (words or bits). The Touch Panel communicates over Ch 0 RS232 19200. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Chad
