  1. Send data TXD548)

Hi,   After a long time, searching for missing communication I think to have found the cause. In this CMP2A plc there is a receiving device connected to the RS-232 port. . During operation it can happen that in the same cycle there will be 2 functions to send different data.. I never receive those 2 data,  only 1 is received. I can set a delay for sending this but this seems to be 'overkill', Is there a simpler way to do this..? The 2 pics are part of the program. After putting the P_off before the other transmits, I always receive the TXD(48) DM1621...   Please advise,
  2. RS-232C Port on cpm2a

Ok, That seems to be the problem. Did not realized this.. Thanks for helping and your time spend.
  3. RS-232C Port on cpm2a

Have double checked and checked again.. Powerd down the plc and checked again. When i set the communication switch to off so that these settings schould work i've got rubbisch
  4. RS-232C Port on cpm2a

Tried 0803, no difference. Also tried 0800 (1200baud), no difference. Started to experimend with receiver options... 8-7-6 databits, none-od-even parity, 1-2 stopbits... Found nothing that works.. Only with communication switch on i've got the default working....
  5. RS-232C Port on cpm2a

Can't figure out the problem To communicate whit an external device i want to switch the com port settings to 9600 baud 1 start bit 1 stop bit 8 data bits No parity All i got on my laptop is unreadable. When I set the communication switch, of the plc, to "on" the default 9600-7-e-2 is used by the plc. If i also change my laptop to this, the output of the plc is readable. (conclusion cable is good. It's the same cable I use to program this plc) What am I missing? I've set DM 6645 1001 (RS323c No Protocol) DM 6646 0830 (9600, N.8.1) DM 6647 0000 (Transmission delay 0) DM 6648 1000 DM 6649 0D00 Any one a suggestion?
  6. Can't change Timer time

Problem found. and it was stupid ... I feel stupid... The output was switched by 2 timers and 2 different inputs. The one I found, simulated and tested, and an other where the push button was connected to, witch I used for the real live tests, en where i never changed the time for... Problem solved so far, now just need to find out where the other push button is.... (just gonna discontect it and see who will complain..) Thanks for thinking with me. Geert
  7. Can't change Timer time

I’ve been struggling a time to enlarge the time of a timer in to my plc. When I adjust the timer in cx-programmer and send it to the plc, the timer is adjusted. In the monitor mode, I can use the timer and it's the new lager value. When I use the plc it keeps on working on its old value. A compare of my new program and the one in the plc is successful.. and I can see the new time in my program but the plc keeps on using the old time. When I upload the program from my plc to my pc it's the new time. Anyone a suggestion what I'm missing? Best regards, Geert (plc type: CPM2A)
  8. Serial communication cpm2a

I'm searching for a way to set an output on my cpm2A with my pc (true RS232). In the manual i found a bunch of commands but not one i can use when the plc is in run state (I can connect my pc to the plc, and use these but i can figure out what to use to set an out- / input) Greetings, Geert
  9. Long timer

I can't seem to program a TIML in cx-programmer He just won't accept it in to program. The help function in the program isn't verry usefull to me.. I just need a timer for 60 min but the TIM function stops at 999sec.. (TIM 241 #9999 is accepted) TIML should do the trick but a can't get it to accept (TIML 242 #60 001 doesn't seem to be correct) Anyone?
