  1. Hi Berna, Another way you achieve this is by using OPC. All you need to do is: Connect your UDS1100 to the OPC Server for Modbus. Connect your ControlLogix to the OPC Server for Allen Bradley. Connect both OPC Servers together with OPC Data Manager. So you architecture should look like: UDS1100 <==> Modbus OPC Server <==> OPC Data Manager <==> Allen Bradley OPC Server <==> ControlLogix PLC. Hope this was helpful Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, Wassim Daoud Global Solutions Architect www.MatrikonOPC.com

  3. Citect/OPC server communication with PLC via GPRS

Hi Justin, For your OPC Solution, here an OPC server for Mitsubishi to connect your Mitsubishi PLCs to. And to log your data into the database, there is a product called OPC Client for ODBC. You can point it to the OPC server, select your database and table you wanna store the data in, and you start archiving data there. Hope this helps. 4. To Narrow down the issue, have you tried reproducing it with another OPC Server like the MatrikonOPC Server for RSlinx? Cheers, Wassim Daoud Global Solutions Architect

Have you considered using OPC for that type of communication? I believe OP77B HMI supports OPC. Use this OPC server to connect to the PLC, it has a wizard to detect and auto-configure itself. Once that is configured, you can transfer the data to the HMI back and fourth easily. here is the link: http://www.matrikonopc.com/opc-drivers/309...er-details.aspx Let me know if you have any questions Wassim Daoud Global Solutions Architect MatrikonOPC
