I've figured it out. These are my settings: CJ1W-DRM21: Unit #: 00 Node Add: 00 WD30-ME01: NNODE:01 WNODE:02 WCH:03 WD30-SE01: NNODE:02 WNODE:02 WCH:03 Thank you PMCR and TK_STUART for the tip that I should start with the slave side..and follow section 2-4. It worked even without purchasing the connector...just belden wires with small ferrules that fits through the pins. Thank you guys. More power!!!

I followed the steps in section 2-4(Devicenet Slave Entry)..but in the last step..when I set the Mode Select Switch to "RUN".,the NS did not lit Green as expected. MS is Red and flashing and the Error Code is F3. What does this means? What the manual says about error code F3 is "check the switch setting and reset correctly" . Which Switch? What do I do?

Hello, I have a devicenet master and a wireless devicenet master(WD30-ME01). I have a slight prob...unfortunately the CONNECTOR for connecting wireless devicenet master to the devicenet master(connected to the PLC) is not included in the box upon purchasing. Is there an alternative way to replace the connector..or does it have a wiring configuration? Thank you.

hello, thank you so much for your help. I figured it out. Actually, what I wanted was to used any status of module LED..ie..SF, BATF, STOP, RUN..BUSF..etc. I already configured BATF. I used OB81, Move SSL ID(W#16#22) to MW, compare as an integer and turned ON an output address. Whenever I remove the Battery of S7-300, OB81 is called and turned ON an indicator lamp. It's enough for my project that I've used one status of module LED. I also tried to use the other Module LED's like the BUSF of profibus expansion(Im using CPU 315-2DP), but have no luck of triggering any OB's yet. Is it possible to use another OB to trigger for Bus fault(BUSF)? How do we deal with the reading of this fault?

oh..thank you so much for that information. Is it possible to use the status of the Stop LED, even if the PLC is in the Stop mode? Because I want to turn ON a Lamp or an indicator like LED outside a panel. The PLC is inside the panel..so when the PLC turns to Stop mode due to some errors, we don't have to open the Panel to see the STOP indicator of the PLC is lit. thank you.

Hey there, Is it possible to turn on an indicator(LED) in siemens S7-300 using the SF error? I mean, when the SF error indicator lit(RED), this signal may also be used to turn on an indicator outside the panel that and error occurs in the PLC inside the panel. Of course, we will also consider that when SF error is lit, the CPU is in the STOP mode. This means that we cannot use the I/O's of the PLC. If this is possible, give me example program please.

The link you gave me sends me to a Product list and Order Number of Siemens product. I get the idea that in OB81, the status information is held in the TEMP area...but don't know how to read it. likewise in RET_VAL of SFC51...don't know how to read the data for usage. That's my problem. Can you please just send me an example program (or picture of the program) using OB81 or SFC51 to detect Battery Fault(BATF). thank you.

I'ts supposed to be 19 and not 119..sori about that. I want to use the status of Module LED's. Its 19 I guess. I'm using CPU 315-2DP(6ES7 315-2AF02-0AB0). I want to use the Status of Module LED's specifically the BAF(Batt fault) thats why my index is W#16#0008.... but I dont know how to used the RET_VAL to turn a Memory address(M79) or an alarm. I also don't know what to put in BUSY, SZL_HEADER and DR. Does the SZL_ID different for every CPU type? I think I will need your example..because I will also use profibus..ET200M. Your reply is really helpful. Problem Summary: I want to use BATF,Profibus error..and all other possible basic hardware error.. using SFC51 to trigger an alarm. Example: 1.)When the battery is shorted or removed, BATF will cause an alarm to signify Batt error is occurring. 2.)When the profibus cable is accidentally cut or removed,.an alarm sound signifying there is error due to profibus cable. How do we deal with this.?

Good day! I want to convert 4 special addresses of A1SCPU of Mitsubishi to siemens Step7 program. These addresses are M9000(fuse blown), M9005(AC down detection), M9006(battery low) and M9008(self diagnosis error). I just don't know what OB's to use. Should I use OB81 and OB82? How do I configure these OB's? Need help... Any help you'll give will be appreciated. Thnx.
