In RSview is there a way to use a numeric keypad entry to view or modify values in an indirect address? My tag is Inventory which is a Data Type UDT_Item_Storage_Data[23,8,50] and I would like to view parts of the array. For instance the quantity in Inventory[0,0,1] I am thinking I can possibly use a multistate indicator and fill the states in with each address with an enter button maybe? Thanks!

I am looking for tips on using a Panasonic BB-HCM531A camera and displaying live feed to a Panelview Plus CE? Is it possible to get a live feed on this PV or just still images?? I am unfamiliar with using active x controls etc.....

I actually need to share use tags from the Main Task in the L61S in the Safety Task. I have all my safety curtain logic in the safety program and all my conveyor logic in the main program but would like to use a Pallet in Transit bit from the main program to allow muting of the light curtain when a pallet passes through. I explained it wrong in my first post.

Is there any way to share tags between a 1756-L61S safety PLC and a 1756-L63 processor in the same rack? I was trying to use produce/consume tags but am not able to and wondered if I am doing something wrong or if it is possible at all.

I have a 1734-ADN with 3 1734-IB4 modules and 1 1734-OB4E module. I am unsure how to map the input an output size in RS Networx. I have inputs set at 6 and outputs set at 3 but I am unsure why it works this way. I am guessing the ADN take 3 inputs and 2 outputs then add on the modules but I want to make sure that is correct. I have had no luck finding a document that tells you how to set it up, everything I find says enter the correct number of inputs and outputs but never says how to determine this. I am sure it is out there I just haven't found it yet.

I have a 1734-ADN module supplying 3 1734-IB4 modules and 1 1734-OB4E module. The input modules are on TB3 bases and the output on a TB. My question is the following: does the ADN provide power to all the modules over the backplane? I see the inputs have 4,5 as common and 6,7 as +24V where the outputs have 4,5,6,7 as common terminals?? Currently I have not got a common wired seperately to the outputs and I am thinking I need it since I have flashing red leds on the outputs which indicates an open circuit.

I am using 1791ds safety modules to a safety PLC> We have Sick light curtains and a bi-directional conveyor loading pallets to a machine. I have the light curtains working to the point where any intrusion stops the conveyor. Now I need to figure out how the muting sensors need to be programmed to allow a pallet to pass?? The sensors are wired to the same 1791DS-IB12 input module as the OSSD1 and OSSD2. I just don't have a clear understanding of how to make this work. Any help is appreciated

That helped so that now the run light comes on but the frequency on the display stays 000?

correct I have the enable the way you said. I have P36 set to comm port I have P38 set to 4 which I think should be a 5 ? I am using the bits 12,13,14 to select the preset speed in parameters A071,A072,A073.

I am trying to get a Powerflex 40P running. I removed the enable and am using terminal 1 as an enable input. We are using devicenet to send it commands. I see that is working since bit 10 is on. Everything is enabled and the drive is ready. I issue the start command and get nothing from the drive. The run light does not come on and it still reads 000 on the display. Any advice???
