Hi In Quantum hostandby PLC I dont know what happen If the communication of Primary and standby fall even CPU of primary is running and controlling ( for example: the cable is cut out). for this situation whether Standby take over become Primary? best regard

I know we can use modbus TCP for twido PLC that is supported ethernet. We use EXCH3 to transfer modbus frame from master( client) to slave( server). But in help file we don't have any structure of frame.I know modbus TCP frame has MBAP header, function code, data but I don't know how to apply for Twido. for example I want to read two word from slave: %MW100 and %MW101. how should I define the table ( frame) and use EXCH3 in twido ethenet port I have configured IP slave address :137.123.12.1, index:1. thanks

as in my experience: for modbus protocol you use Configure " Express Communication" : Exeternal IO device -> Schneider Electric -> Twido -> ( you can choose modbus RTU or Modbus TCP) and next in variable tag: in address: 40001-49999 for register out, you can write from citect to twido) ( for example : 40001=%MW0) 30001-39999 for register in you can read register from twido ( 40001=%MW0) you try more with 00001 for %M0 out 10001 for %M0 in Port is 502

Hi everyone I am trying to communicate two Premium PLCs by using messaging function. I have two premium PLCs ( ETY port built in) with IP address : PLC1: 135.124.15.1 (Server) PLC2: 135.124.15.2 (client) I want to exchange data between two PLCs by using modbus TCP protocol ( client/Server), But I don't know how to configure which is client and which is server. I configured and programed for PLC2: in IP configuration : IP address : 135.124.15.2 I ran two PLCs but I have not had result. please give me suggestion thank a lot

Hi everyone I have a problem when I try to update concept 2.6 SR5. I have already installed Concept 2.6 SR1 trial version and I want to update to Concept 2.6 SR5 but I can not. When I installed the file update of Concept 2.6 SR5 It display the message :" You haven't selected a directory where concept 2.6 is already installed" I sure I installed Concept 2.6 SR1 trial version at "C:\concept " folder, and I chose Destination folder is C:\Concept.
