is it a MCR input or some interupt thing ?
-
Im cant really understand what u r trying to say. but with a real beijer lead u should have no trouble. an 1n & a 1s r the same port. would suggest taking a look at the comms settings. There was me thinking it was easy since medoc was gone :)
-
ok, what r they like to program ? Just Got a job that specs Twido, Ive used tsx with PLC7micro & PLCjunior, how similar is it?
-
ill email u someting in the morning, I'll wake the missus up if i go out to car this time of night :)

I would say, take the power from an external source if u can. I have powered them both ways, and both at the same time, but its got to be better if u can power them from an external source, incase the PLC needs expanding at a later date. Just a word of warning, when the E50 First came out I used a bog standard 5v psu to program them, fried several of them. Dont know why? was a regulated 5v psu. Ended up buying a mitsi one, cost bout 15quid and was identical to what i had (even put it on a scope) Bizarre......
-
An fx does not need to know if there is an expansion attached. If you tell me the plc model and exp model Ill post you a piece of code. medoc or gx ? oh yeah, and the if there r any other modules attached
-
Could you provide more info on the Fuji Controller? Maybe a link to a data sheet or part number?
-
I can confirm that all the smaller E-Terminals (E50, E100 & E150) use 5v from the PLC. I have also ran them with the Mitsubish 5v PSU connected at the same time and had no problems.
-
I've written some code to do this in MSVC++ Its pretty basic and crude but does the job. Let me know if your interested and I'll email it to you.
-
I've tryed several times to get medoc to work with XP but though the program will run it always fails on comms.

Heres a snip from Beijers web site Although locally developed systems dominated the Swedish market in the early 1980s, Beijer Electronics opted for the novel concept of combining high-quality agency products with proprietary development. Mitsubishi Electric's control systems, whose compact, integrated units constituted a new market philosophy, formed Beijer Electronics' foundation. The collaboration with this corporation also meant Beijer Electronics undertaking a series of major development assignments, which included the development of the MEDOC programming tool in the mid-1980s, a product that, until recently, was used for the installation of all Mitsubishi Electric's control systems worldwide. http://www.beijer.se/english/group/history/history.htm
