Dear All, Please let me know various methods of licensing of wonderware. We are using 4 blade servers in which we have installed Historian, Application server, Web server and IAS runtime. Wonderware has supplied us dongles for licensing. But blade server does not come with USB ports.We can use connector cables in blade server and connect this dongles but this is not safe to use. So please let me know does wonderware license comes with CD so that we can copy license from these CD's and copy in our server at once. Awaiting your valuable feedback. Regards Ajesh

Hi, We are using woodhead gateway 1.4 to exchange data between siemens PLC and wonderware using Brad communication . In woodhead gateway there is only provision to enter MAC address and IP address. Can anybody tell can we assign default gateway address to this Woodhead gateway apart from IP address. Without default gateway we cannot ping the IP of woodhead gateway from our server which is placed some 2kms away from PLC. Has anybody worked on woodhead gateways before.Please let me know the procedure to assign the default gateway address. Thanks in advance.... Regards Ajju

Hi Jesper, Thankyou for the information you have provided. I have gone through the links but found that for the communication we need to have CP1613. I want to know can we have IP address and MAC address both in one CP443-1. MAC address will be communicating with existing WinCC and IP address for wonderware. Will it work and does it results to any conflict or damage to the existing WinCC. Again i applogize for posting the same in other forum.I will take in future not to have PM. Regards Ajesh

Dear all, We want to read data from S7-400 in wonderware system. We have CPU414-H with CP-443-1 redundant system. We could find TSAP address and IP address used for CP's. But we could not communicate with our IO/DA servers to read data.For WinCC workstation we have CP1613. We could find that the WinCC workstation PC and CP's have two different subnet mask address. We are communicating via ethernet.We have contacted SI's but they have informed that "CP443-1 of both H-CPU have no IP-addresses .The communication to the WINCC computer system is carried out via ISO protocol and a software redundancy manager" Can anybody provide any solution on it. Hi All, I want to integrate Siemens PLC with wonderware for that i need the I/O list of the PLC. Is their any way to get the PLC taglist exported in CSV format. If so please let me know. We are using S7-300 and S7-400 plc. I want to export tags from simatic manager. Program is in STL. IF i double click on symbol we can get the list of data .But i want to know is their anyway to export the taglist to CSV. Thanks in advance.....
