Hi !!! Wishing all of you & Your family members for Happy & Prosperous New year 2009. I'm doing a Project, Our Control system ( SLC 5/05) needs to update the process parameters continuously to the plant master Yokagawa DCS via Modbus. So we have planned to use 1746-BAS module as Modbus RTU slave in RS-485 Physical network. Is anyone succeeded with this configuration? Please send me the sample code if anyone has. Thanx in Advance. Hi !! I am using a PV+1500 terminal in one of my projects, in which the customer needs to display all the Digital Input & Outputs statuses. Normally in RSView 32, we transfer Digital modules status as a single word, and using Derived tags, we will split the individual bits by doing AND with 2^0 to 2^15 for consicutive bits. I've tried the same sort of stuff in Panelview Plus. But there it is not working. Can anybody tell me how to do it. Since there are >500 IO's are there (SLC Processor) i can't create all the digital tags in my HMI. Thanx in advance. Shivakumar.

Hi Guys, I'm doing a project with SLC Redundancy system, where 36 RIO modules were used. Since the Complementry mode cannot be used with ASB's (No. of Input & Output modules were not same), so i've no other options and yes 2 BSN's. Is anybody worked with this configuration please help me on how to configure the BSN module. And how to use the M files of the second BSN. Rockwell Manuals also not provide enough details in this mode. Also I'[m going to place another Modbus module in the redundant chassis (i think it is 1747-BAS) for DCS communications. Is anybody worked on this?? Is there any sample code available for the Modbus communications?? Thanx in Advance
