Quoting Crossbow, I'd like to implement this setup. I've got an FX3U with 2 serial ports (an FX3U-232BD and an FX3U-232ADP): 1)communicates to a Keyence vision system controller oh CH1 2)CH2 currently open --(want to use this one for programming/monitoring) Also, an HMI (Panasonic GT32) communicates via RS422. How can I set up CH2 for programming/monitoring? Can it be on CH2 or does it have to be CH1? Are these parameters changed in the [Parameter]-[PLC Parameter]-{PLC system(2) tab? Or are they configured through ladder logic rungs? Does the built in mini-din 8 RS422 connection count as a comms channel?
