    This is true. Virtual PC CANNOT be used to communicate. A program running from virtual pc is not allowed to access the computers communication hardware. I've tried this myself. FYI. I'm glad someone could help with the text, I have AI for PLC2 and PLC3 and 6200 for PLC3 but not PLC2.
  2. I have been doing a lot of PLC3 stuff myself. I got your files opened in 6200 and AI as well. As others have stated, no description files are present. You should look to see if you have any other .txt files or possibly even a .fil file. The .fil files come from the old Taylor software. If you have that, it can be converted through PLC3 AI software.
