Hello,  does any one have experience working with a NX controller and KINCO stepper drivers as axis via ethercat ? the EDS files are available from KINCO , but I wonder it will work , sometimes you cant be sure until you test it . thanks in advance

It will de nice to have an option for getting a cross-reference report for the AT address used on programs , as is now its easy to make mistakes double setting the same AT address on a program , specially this days that supplies of NA screens are not always availiable and using memory address is necessary for NB screens and SCADA communication and is difficult to keep track of the used address on a program , some times in global or in internals, right now its easy to make a mistake and use the same address twice , and this wont be detected on the compiling

Hello , I am trying to run and parameters settings of several Q2V inverters +SI-ES3+JOHB-Q2V (option board for Ethercat), I managed to install the xml file for the settings , but I dont see as much settings as with the MX2 , and I cant find any related FB's as with the MX2, maybe someone has set this inverters before ? Thanks!

Hello to all , I need to upload the program from an old Schneider Modicon 140 CPU 113 02 , there is no backup for the program in this PLC so its not possible to know what software was used for writing the program. Is it possible to upload the program from this PLC using Eco Structure Control Expert ?

replacing the power supply didn't help

Have the same problem , SLC5/04 CPU , all CPU leds bling in a sequence in a loop , but here is worth , this company I a servicing , cant find the program backups , so if the PLC is not back for an upload then maybe a new program from scratch on a new PLC will have to be done. Found a solution with "Ammy Admin", It works Ok on the embedded Windows.

Hi, anyone knows if there is a VNC program that will work on Windows XP embedded 2002 on a Beckhoff controller ? team viewer doesn't support Embedded or CE. maybe there is another solution? thanks!

Hi , anyone have any experience comunicating from Citect with the OMRON E5CN + E53-CNH03N2 Temperature Controller + comunication module? I have tried several variations of the Modbus drivers from Citect without any succes, since Citect doesn't have a CompoWay/F driver. Tried also RTU and ASCII modes not sucesfully. I do the comunications via RS232C - OMRON K3SC-10 conerter to RS 485 , it works OK when I use the program"Simply Modbus" to test the comunication , but havent succeeded with Citect , so the problem must be on the Citect settings or on using the correct driver. Also tried several driver settings at the "citect.ini" ,but not really working I get some communications but not really OK. I'll apreciate some help from someone with experience on this.

for all my older applications I have being giving support with a Sony Ericson celular modem RS232C or with the older Nokia phones that have a RS2332C adaptor cable. This always changing the omron standard port settings since the celullar devices will just accept the JIS 8 bit set,all this using the periferial port with a CIF or the PLC RS232C port if abailiable since in some applications I have it for a MMI or for modbus. The thing is that with CP1H and CP1L is no longer possible to remote service through the USB programming port and sometimes the RS232 are used for MMI with a setup different thant the required for the celullar or the slot are in use for comm with other devices like modbus. Any one knows if there is an adaptor or modem in the market that can work from the PLC USB? I know that is always posible to add a C1W communication unit , but this add a substansial expense just for a possible service need.

Today I succesfully ended the programming for this panel , Its not so bad , a bit limited compared with the regular monochome Nt's , but I guess it have to be cheaper too , and for many applications more than enough. The special software is not so bad too. It can work very good in English , there is no other language capabilities , I just used it instinctively since I never had the manuals , but is easy to manage. I did something like 60 screens from scratch since I never got the correct password from the machine manufacturer. I wonder what is the price sale , and I think it must be a very good cost effective one. Thanks MPM for the software!!

I have purchased a new machine from China that includes an Omron NT52B-ST121B-EC Touch HMI , I havent been able to find on any of the english Omron sites information about this HMI , no manuals , programming software , or any other information about it. It seems to be a newer model because it includes a USB port. Any one have some information for this HMI?

maybe the only thing left to try is to connect through the periferial and turn all the setup DM to #0000, then turn off and on again

thanks MPM I got it and installed , surprising it have an english option on the installation and the program runs at full english , I will try it with the HMI next week since I am not at work now and let you know how it goes. Nice win from Holland on the Eurocup!! very nice game !!

It will appreciate if someone can post the programming software since I have to make some adds to the program. When I ordered this machine I asked for Omron PLC and screen and the servos Omron or Yaskawa. The PLC and the servo driver came OK CP1L and the servo driver SGDM , but this panel is something I never expected.

Thanks for the information, I also see now that a special software NTZ designer is needed por programming this sure is not quite compatible to CX ONE

It's all in the manual but the manual might be a bit complicated for a begginer , first you have to set the CPU for HSC mode using CX programmer "Settings" or Syswin or by writing directly into DM6640 to DM664. Then you will have to restart the PLC for the settings be effective. you can easily read the HSC PV from words 230,231 or by using the function PVR and reset with bit 252.00 I you are more experienced you can also use the HSC with the CTBL function.

Hello guys, I am having problems communication from a CPM1H: Dip Switch Settings : all 1 to 6 off I have a CP1W-CIF11 on slot 2 : Dip switch Settings : all 1 to 6 off. The Inverter is a CIMR V7AZ The settings at the inverter are: n03=2, n04=6, n151=0, n152=0, n153=1, n154=2, n155=0, n156=10, n157=0. the PLC and inverter are connected by four wire RS422, I tried switching the terminator resistor on the inverter but also wont help. The inverter is blinking error CAL and on the error monitor U-15 the errors are CRC , parity and framming. The setings on the inverter are according to the FB seetings on the program. The Led on the CIF port on the PLC blinks OK. I am not so familiar with the CPM1H and the FB's. I am including the CX file of the testing program here. Thanx OK Guys problem solved I just forgot to change the communications self-test on the Inverter n56=35 back to 10 just one of those stupid errors that cost much time. thanks to all anyway SYS_HISH_V02_test.cxp

You have to do the correct setings in the DM area , then you have to use the INT fuction to set the counter. anyway Interrupt counters count just in down mode from a PV.

have you try using the SCL (scale) function ? , first you have to set it on the exxpansion functions , the you might have to do some data convertion since it work just for BCD. Anyway you should read the dedicated I/O manual for the analog cards and The SCL function chapter.

thats right , the best way to learn is reading the manuals , Omron manuals are very good , and then start using and trying the PLC , It will be very good to have a PLC for practice , things really get to you after you make them work , after all the rest is just easy

thats right , to debug your program just go into monitor mode , to fix rungs you can use on line edit , and if you want to run just parts of your program you can place an "end" instruction up to the point you want to run the scan
