  1. Hey le Dude, I didn't checked all of your attachements, but one difference between the ADP and BD is that the ADP supports full duplex and the BD only half duplex. Also when you change between 485 ADP and 485 BD you will have to re-wire the cable, as the pin allignment of the connector is different ~whipperSnapper

  2. I heard about trouble with CP1L relay outputs, but with exceptionally low loads on the relays. It was some thing that the relay contacts get dirty by the time. So maybe a resistor parallel to the load might help in this case as well or use of transistor outputs

  3. When you have an older SC-09 cable, you will see that the plug is square shaped and won't fit in the programming port of the FX3U (The port is placed deeper in the housing in order to stabilize the plug with the case.) The solution is to cut down the edges from the SC-09. A diagonal cutter will be perfect for that. After that you will face no problems, communication up to 115kbps are supported by both SC-09 and FX3U.

  4. Hi Rusty When you're new to PLCs, check the FX training manual in the download section. It will help you to understand the PLC and how you can accomplish your task. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?autocom=...mp;showfile=872 ~whipperSnapper
