  1. Activation location

The *.LIC file path is defined in the Settings tab. The default path is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Rockwell Automation\Activations.
  2. Good day All, I'm a newbie to Allen Bradley and have picked up some issues with my Laptop. The license/activation that worked without hassles for the past year is now undetectable, I am sure the license is still on my laptop somewhere but the license activation tool where I went to look after RSlogix 5000 complained, is pointing to "my documents" for activations. I am under the impression that this is the likely cause of my problem. Could someone assist so that I can get it looking for the activations in the right place again. My local RA Support can only assist me next week when someone becomes available. Any suugestions welcome. Thanx
  3. S5-IP242A counter module

Hi All, I found the site googl'ing the S5 IP242A counter module, I found an old thread with another problem and was hoping maybe someone can help me out with this one. I am trying to add a sixth counter to above mentioned module without much success... here are some details on the situation: The module is already working on the plant with a S5-135 CPU928, using FB178, page frame adressing, counters 1-5 being used. We now need to add a sixth - a decoder - measuring the total product throughput. I have copied the program elements from the existing program to use in testing before we try to implement. During parametrization of the counters I get bit 7 in the MELD (message byte), a group error bit. The value in the error byte is zero, but in the F-NR byte the value 9 is present. According to the manual it means acknowledgement delay, but no further details as to how or what can be done to solve the problem Any ideas anyone?
