  1. MAC6 or MAC7

Hello, Do any of you have any information on MAC6 Controls? We have 2 Mitsubishi Injection machines with MAC6 controls interconnected with Allen-Bradley PLC5's. Are there any manuals in Electronic format for these controls? Someone had told me that only Mitsubishi could edit MAC6 controls, but I figured I'd check around for myself.
  2. RSLinx - Devicenet problem

Thanks very much. I'll have to wait until the weekend to try what you recommended, but I believe you are onto something. I had already registered the EDS files for the devices. Some of the other guys in our dept. said they had changed out the FR-E5nd modules on some other drives and they could see the drives after this with RSLinx. I bet their is a parameter to select between the modes you had mentioned and I bet that the other installed cards had the parameters set to a mode that is causing this to occur. Thanks very much
  3. I'm running RSNetworx7.0. When connecting to a scanner that has about 20 nodes on it, including 4 Mitsubishi VFD's, FR-E500 series with the FR-E5nd option, the drives will not apear when browsing. They are on the network and functioning fine; however, we cannot view them with RSNetworx. When you look at the scanners scanlist, it shows the 4 drives as "removed from configuration". This is on an SLC500 system with a 1747-sdn module. Thanks for any help.
  4. Hello, I hate to keep asking these questions that are most likely very stupid to you all, but I have made a cable and I've been trying to communicate with my SLC503. I use these at work, but they are almost all on a devicenet network & I'm using a laptop for the ones that aren't with a PCMCIA slot card. Anyway, The fault light is flashing on the "DH485" section. I'm having trouble establishing communications with the SLC503 trying to use RS232. I'm using RSLinx. Any suggestions?
  5. The cable for programming the SLC503, Is it the 1784-CP3? Also, does this cable have to be shielded wire? Thanks, Carmen
  6. Thanks Very much to Both of you.
  7. Hello, Does anyone have a pinout for a programming cable from a PC RS232 port or Ethernet Card to an SLC500? Or does such an animal exist? Thanks for any help.
