yerp! using INC also can. But INC command increments BCD data type. How I want to make INC command to increment # data type?

Thanks! I have tried CNTR and it works! In CNTR, it will count up between zero and SV. But 1 thing, I tried and found out that the highest SV it can reach is #9999. Is there any way to go beyond that value? Ill try to count up using INC command as well to see which one is better.

ohh. I see. But my constant, I set it with & because the analog input that CMP(20) reads (as default) as &. Its range from &0 up to &2047. How I want to make CMP(20) reads the analog input as # instead?

Hey guys. I just want to know what is the meaning of these following symbols # = ? & = ? Is it Binary, Hex, BCD, Decimal or what? Those symbols are assigned in CX-Programmer for CMP(20) instruction purpose.Im using PLC CQM1H type. And Im comparing analog input with certain constant value. Cheers

ok ok. my mistake. Now I know that Adroit can talk with Omron just using Adroit driver. Ignore OPC! But, how to configure the communication setting inside omron? I read the CX-Programmer manual that the file must be converted into .CDM type file. It also says that 'For each symbol required to be shared, set its Link the definition to the CX-Server file setting'. Im still trying to figure it out. Any helpful and additional reference/ manual that I can refer to? Thanks.

You mean, CX-Server and CX-Server OPC are not the same software? I understand greatly that OPC cant be used to manipulate the PLC. It acts as the protocol translator between PLC/RTU and SCADA. To manipulate OMRON PLC, CX-Programmer will do the job.

Can you please help me on how to configure the CX-Programmer and CX-Server in order the events can be delivered to Adroit SCADA? Any useful links maybe. TQ

This is want I want to do. I have one PC (which is installed with CX-Programmer,CX-Server and Adroit SCADA) and one OMRON PLC (CQM1H CPU41). Those PC and PLC are simply connected together by RS232. I want all the events occur at CX-Programmer to be sent to Adroit SCADA so that I can manipulate the data from CX-Programmer and represent them graphically in Adroit in the same PC. Are you going to connect the SCADA PC directly to the PLC by RS232 ? In that case I think you won't need to use an OPC server to connect. How can I connect the Adroit with CX-Programmer or PLC without using CX-Server?

Sysmac driver? Hmm. I dont think that I have installed or configured it. Where to get one? What is the name of OMRON OPC Server? Is there any specific one? Im still new with OMRON PLC. During my Internship attachment I managed to link between the SCADA package(Adroit) with RTU(SSE RTU). Now, for my Final Year Project, I want to link Adroit with OMRON PLC.
