It's the best and simple road to extract your data. For example, you can create a Data Block first, and save the date. Then read exclusively the right bytes. Be careful! Remember to convert BCD! Ciao

Edit: Some case, when it's opportune, I work with INTEGER, and I multiply these values X10 or X100 NO WAY!
-
In this case i purpose you to multiply your integers X1000 or X10000. Then, you must divide for the same number. Ciao

Thanks JesperMP whith your help i found many information in Siemens web site. Ciao

I have a question about the comuncation blocks (S7 Comunication). What about "ID" and "R_ID" parameters? Are they Profibus address? MPI address? Are they simple indipendent words?
-
I know a very good book about S7-200, but it's italian one. If you are interested, click here. Ciao

ChanThien, it's very important to remember that real numbers (and respective functions) "tired" CPU! It's better to use Integer...... Ciao

Is your Protool integrated into STEP7? In this case, MPI net (configured in STEP7), is also avaible in Protool. So, you must control the parameters of your PLC, and you select the right MPI net. The address of your Panel is now fixed
