Hi all, I am using SCHNEIDER QAUANTUM HOT STANDBY CPU 67160. I am getting error (SYSTEM ERROR NO. EC0E) in both the CPU's after powering up. If any body faced this problem pls help me. Thanks Arun

Thanks for reply...sir I am using citect and ifix scada...In one case I want to write driver also to communicate with rs232 over serial communication...and also for reporting I hope lot of scripting knowledge is required... So can you suggest me from where I have to start????? Thnx once again.... arun

Hi all... Sorry to ask very basic question..It may be silly... I am using few scadas which will support VBA.. But except basic things (if...else/while/ for..next) I do not exclusively worked on vb scripting..I am handling SCADA right now also..and I have knowledge of PLC's..programming.but in case of reporting/driver writing ......which is neccessary part of SCADA... i am not eligible right now... Can any body suggest which site I have to refer? or any manuals? or what are the things I should do.. I have gone through couple of sites like VB tutor..etc..etc..but all will tell about only basic... So please help me out in this........ Thanks in advance.. ARUN

Hi I want to use re-usable genies in citect. But when I create my own genie, I could not able to pass a variable on screen. When I double click on this, I am getting error that this block is not editable. How to overcome this problem? Can anybody pls give me the manual for startup guide for starting citect? I worked on cimplicity - but on citect, this is first time..plssssssss help me....

hi.. first u configure hardware configuration. u change the operating mode to "counter" then u download the program with hardware configuration. put the PLC in run mode. u will see the counts when wheel rotates in %AI 2 or the word which u defined in H.W config. make sure that 24 DC input is coming from ur High speed source to PLC...i mean...observe the LED flickering.
